I've been good and NOT playing 2nd Season... however a new otome game has been taking up my late nights.

The first time I saw this(ps version) I was like, "Ahaha! A-a weight loss/dating otome game?" but I was interested since I liked the shiny art and I have seen a lot of fan art around... it seemed really popular. It was announced to be released on DS, the same day as 2nd Season so I was excited to start playing.
The general story is that you love sweets/food and you've become rather... large. You make a resolution to start to lose weight starting your second year of high school. Oh, and you're the apartment owner's daugther... The new tenants are coincidentally the top popular guys that go to your school. Plus the infirmary teacher and your childhood friend. As you lose weight, you also can get along with your perfered guy. You learn more about him and can get a confession from him at the end of the year (I think there's also a 'friend' ending route?)
Game play is pretty simple; like tokimemo you have to raise your stats and spend time with the guys so they will like you. Some are easier than others, obviously. The goal at the end is to reach 45kg(?) but you can end it at a higher weight depending on who you choose. You can go shopping to help make stat building easier (machines like threadmill, rowboat, speacial sweatsuits to wear etc)
Stats are: Weight, Arms, Feet, Strength, Guts/Will Power, Diet Info, Study(basic education), Humanities(arts/club), Science/Math and School Sports (exercise)
You can ask the guys out on dates on sunday (though dating is a bit limited compared to all the palces you can go in tokimemo) and do the whole 'right answer' thing on the date. It's rather easy to get them to like you actually. You can get the heart meter goes from blue > green > red with in two-three months.
You can also help around the apartment to get extra cash to buy items (gifts/good/items for diet use) What I really like is the different type of shop keepers. One is this gothic loli type character and her dad wears this paper bag over his head...? Or the girly looking guy randomly holding a large tuna behind his back... yeah. what!? ^^;;
I'm sad that there is no voice acting or new characters (tokimemo even had some voices in 1st love...) and sometimes when I'm playing, only ONE keyword pops up and I'm left to wonder what the other two are... This is the case when I played for the sensei. If you input the three keywords that show up in your play, you get an epilogue event/cg.
I think the new thing (?) is the addition of the cellphone/mail...? which is just them emailing you. You can buy 'mail blocks' (seals?) so that your wallpaper is of the guy you like but I don't know how much this affects the status or relationship between you two.
Needless to say I'm liking this game more than I thought I would. The dialog's pretty funny and Hitomi (the main heroine)'s tsukomi and reactions to each situation is harlarious. I found the cg artist's homepage but there's no loverevo art there - just an original bl game. I wish I could find the artbook for loverevo, I like her shiny cgs... :3

1st play: Fukami Souta
I went for the genki kouhai, since he was the only one being nice to me in the beggining of the game XD; Of course, I didn't know what I was doing so at the end I got the 'bad ending' where I'm still heavy, but burning with determination that I'll lose weight next time. XD
2nd play: Fukami Souta
Now that I have an idea of what to do, I went for the genki green haired kouhai again. His play was rather cute, I always like the high-genki type characters (reminds me a bit of Hibiya but is more ...reliable)
3rd play: Tachibana Kennosuke
Since I'm done one kouhai, might as well go for the next! Tachibana's "...ssu." is rather cute. TAT and OMG the end CG is so freaking... like, it makes me really think "コレ本当にCERO Bなのかよ!? ち、ちょっとエロくねー！？" I can imagin it being even more awesome with the voice acting... That's right, Hiyama Nobuyuki. Say you love me again like you did in Tokimemo. *DIES* マジで萌える。
4th play: Wakatsuki Ryuutarou
ahaha. I actually finished it last night, Sensei's cute. I find it amusing he has his headphones on him 24/7 - it's like Kazuma's ever lasting bandage! He must get his looks from his mother's side though, because you can not see the resembelence between him and his father (but then that's the same for Tachibana now that I think about it) Is he the same as as your 'brother'? They go out drinking together and graduated uni so...?
5th play: Takashi (brother)
I watched someone play him on nico douga (PS2 version) and I was expecting a 'Im really your step brother so we can be together' type of thing but nope. there's really an incest ending you can take. I got the normal(?) 'brother/sister complex' ending which is a bit of a softer blow than the renai ending... CGいろんな意味でもやばいぜ！
I really love Oniichan. There's no way a REAL brother would be like this and I laughed at the nico comments like "うちの兄ちゃんと交換"(I'd like to trade my brother with him) followed by many "<-同感" (same!) comments after XDD;;
5th play: Kamishiro Ayato
"I like kind uperclassmen, so I'll go for him next! :D This will be a fun light hearted play!" ...or so I thought. I won't spoil it for any of you that haven't played his route yet. It's just... awwwwwwwwww XDDD;;
Kahara Masaki
He's all happy and outgoing, plus he likes dogs so I think I'll go for him next. LOL Unless it ends up like Ayato's play. I guess it's a good thing the charaters in the game aren't what they really appear to be at first glance.
Kinomura Tooru
Childhood friend role is always cute and I've seen fan art of him loosing the weight along with Hitomi. He's an anime/manga lover...?
Tokita Kaede
The sort of spacey character...? I laughed at the fact that he liked my marimo gift I got for him. XD
Ichinosei Ren
He's the prince and most hardest to get? (when I check my stats its at a 'no way can I get him' type phase XD) He's famous for being the hot 'shin-dere' character. I don't know - I had fun with Majima so maybe it'll be fun playing his route? I might FAIL and not lose enough weight for him though...
I think it's worth it, so I'm going to get the PS2 version when I can.
Also, I should really diet MYSELF and not just in this fictional game... *dies a thousand times over* XDDD
oh! I just noticed that if you go to the arcade and do well, you can win a SD doll of the characters XDD I have a chibi Ren sitting on my chair in my room! awwwwww~~~

Me: uh- *closes the ds* it's nothing... It's just a game.
Guy: .... but what is it? ....
Me: it's nothing. *waits for him to leave*
Guy: can I watch you play? what game is it?
Me: ...? ah, no.
Guy: ....but... but my son has one too. let me see...
Me: No, see this is an import game in japanese so he won't understand it.
And this point he tries to take my DS away from me.

oh. I also started playing Last Escort 2: Shinya no Amai Toge (which isn't at all smutty even if it is a CeroD - 17+ game)
