Crazy Insane Clown Maam
wow. all i can freaking say is wow. i had a great weekend w/ the kandi, the apangburn, and our new friend courtney. so much happened this weekend on our trip to oregon to see the pixies/death cab, but im not going to ramble on and on like my other never ending livejournals. :)
so we started driving on friday, stayed in a hotel w/ all our biker friends. (ha). then we drove the rest of the way to bend, and hung out waiting to get it in. we heard death cab and the pixies sound checks. sooooo amazing. the bass player kim waved to us. so cool. then we got in, and me and kandi were in the very front, and in the very middle. i was so happy i yoinked that spot. it was perfect. before the show started we met some cool people. eric, sarah, maeve, and some others. the show was amazing. the decemberists were great. i was sad that death cab only played songs from photo album and transatlanticism, and nothing from we have the facts and were voting yes. but it was soooo amazing. then the pixies came on, and i have to say the phrase "rocking the casbah" is the only way to describe their performance. so then afterwards we drove three hours to sterlings drummers place. we went to church together, and hung out at one of the members house. we picked up sterlings amp, bass, and other crap, including his honda, which we had to push evertime he started his car. poor teeny tiny.:) so at about 6 we left and drove for about 20 hours straight. at about eight in the morning sterling turned his car all of a sudden onto one of those emergency turns, so i swearved out of control and hit the road and my hub cap flew in the air. it must have been a funny sight for the truck drivers to see two girls wearing church clothes digging through the bushes. ahah. we just got back like an hour ago, and im waiting for the shower. im still in my church clothes that i have been wearing since 10 oclock yesterday. well its my turn. woo hoo. sand dunes tonight. cant wait. love ya guys!!
