Ahhhhh. Though my interpretation came close to this explanation --I never thought of Icarus. Holy shit.

I freakin loved every word of the fic and this note. I'm an English major and I analyze the HECK out of some fanfic. I would DROOL if other authors discussed their work like this. I get this. Icarus is the son of Daedalus, isn't he? I feel like I remember him but something different happened. He died the same way, tho. I read it in the Heroes of Olympus series not sure what book lol
