Things are looking like they're headed in the right direction now, career wise. I'm just starting out on the low levels with no budget productions and such so there's lots more room for error, but it seems like things are headed towards the right direction. I'm finishing work on Black Pearl (www.blackpearlmovie.com), I actually got some token cash for it since I'm working more than the guys expected me to... I'm choreographing the fights, being second cameraman, boom operator, and on occassion stuntman. There's still a big potential that it won't turn out very well though for various reasons.

Anyways, I'm also doing some music for them. I posted that clip I shared last time on a few message boards, and people liked it and those doing their own films want me to do some music for them. The guys on Black Pearl want to use that specific clip as the theme for their movie, and I have three paying offers (albeit not much) for further music compositions.

I'm also making a lot of good connections and meeting good people that I can use in short martial arts films, and I'm hoping to make a 5-10 minute one later on that I'll be using the aforementioned people for. Good people in general. Unfortunately the whole set seems to be overpositive, every take is "perfect!", everyone "did a WONDERFUL job!", and everything will "turn out GREAT!". Good to be positive, but when there's no constructive criticism (except from me, and then I feel like a jack ass) to improve production...meh.

I was also going to post a big rant on ethics, religion, and how they relate, but I just went over all that in a debate with my parents so I'm all philosophied out. ::everyone thanks my parents::
