I CAN HAS INTERNET!
It's not mine, though - I'm at the Starbucks at the mall opposite my new building. Yesterday was absolute hell. We fought with the owners of our old place - they were bitching about how we didn't maintain the place and it's so dirty. Well, duh because we were in the middle of packing and moving things to the new place. Of course 5 years' worth of dust is gonna rear its ugly head. They were complaining about how we broke their air-cons when my mom just spent a thousand bucks getting them repaired and cleaned recently. The only thing we really failed to er, "maintain" is the marble floor. There is a crack on the floor in the living room - that was because of an accident last May. My brother, Joel, was moving furniture around (our neighbours were moving out - someone important died and I guess they couldn't take living there any more - and they gave us lots of shiny new furniture) and he dropped this big, big cabinet. I think. Well, I remember a really big scary sound and then... there was a crack on the floor. Oh well. Not like it's impossible to repair. B|b
The new place isn't that bad, after all, I guess... When I first walked in, the colours were so jarring - puke yellow living room, puke green room and puke pink doors. But now, the colours seem pleasantly lighter - mellow. Ah, I'll take pictures sometime. Go on and request what you want pictures of, like that meme I did a few weeks ago. My laptop battery is giving up on me so I can't stay on for much longer - that's my fault because I was bored last night and played Dota on my computer without plugging it in to a power point. Because I could not find it.
Also, I was very lonely last night in the new house with no Internet. My parents were out having dinner (I was too tired) and my dog died on me. Like, she just crawled into my lap and she was knocked out for the rest of the evening. She was stressed about the new territory, but at least she didn't pee everywhere.
Basically... when you're feeling sad and lonely, do not watch Under The Tuscan Sun on a free channel even though you have cable in a strange new place with all your things packed in boxes and you can't find them ;A; (Plus, Joel called from the Philippines in the middle of the movie) and he made me feel a little guilty about the transferring schools thing. Will tell you more about that next time, too.)
P.S. I'm sorry,
toukasa. I promised to tell you when I get net access, but I left my cellphone at home >: Thanks for keeping me (and my cellphone) company last night, though!
EDIT: There's a crazy lady outside Starbucks. She has long, unbound straggly hair and is dressed in red shorts and a translucent white tank top. She paces and repeats the same gestures. She's yelling at thin air. She seems awfully angry at... something.
And my dad just called Singtel. So I'll have Internet at home about... 36 hours from now. So, see you then :^;
