Yesterday I went to the doctor with my mom, and apparently the nurse asked her if my high school had the day off. Granted, I dress like I just left a fire sale at Hot Topic (I'm a grad student and I work in an office with no dress code!) but this is the sixth person in the past six months to think that I'm under 18 ( Read more... )

They were amazing! Gabe was really feeling the love for his band, and Alex seemed unsurprised by the constant groping.

Gah. Now I'm actually regretting that I didn't pounce on tickets for the LA show and decide to travel. Because only seeing this tour once is a tragedy!

I still think your interaction with Victoria was totally in-bounds and appropriate. Also, knee-highs=HOT! I'm so glad I got to see you, and we must make plans to do so again pre-April!

I was all worried, because it was a combination of 1) person whose work I respect, 2) person about whom I read fic, and 3) hot girl. I'm surprised I could speak.

And yes, we must hang out. Seeing you > not seeing you.

Dude. Dude. You have never seen me in full fan glee. Well, there was Serenity, but that was the second time I'd seen it. It's, well, markedly different from regular me. If I get Kristen out here in the fall to follow me around to fandomy shows, I'll take pictures of us freaking out, just for you.

Also, Cobra Starship is amazingly fun, and I'm totally recommending their music to you, for when you really need an 80s electronica throwback. (Don't front, we all need that sometimes.) Here.
