I apparently haven't updated my journal since 2006! But i'm going to revive my journal so that I can keep track of my progress on my '101 in 1001' list. Inspired by www.dayzeroproject.com/. I haven't yet reached 101 goals, but i'll edit this entry when I do add more goals.

Bettering Myself

  1. Pass driving theory test [Completed: 17/05/2010]
  2. Pass practical driving test
  3. Get a job
  4. Once passed my driving test, complete the pass plus course


Entertainment
  1. Read 100 new books [10/100]
  2. Watch 100 new films [6/100]
  3. Go see atleast 5 different shows at the theatre [0/5]
  4. Go see atleast 5 different comedians [1/5]
  5. See atleast 10 different bands in concert [0/10]
  6. Perform in a play (not academically)
  7. Go to a music festival
  8. Sync all of my CDs to iTunes

Social 
  1. Have a movie night with friends
  2. Spend time with friends atleast twice a month 
  3. Have a party 
  4. Make a list of atleast 10 cheap (less than £5) or free things to do over summer
  5. Send a text to one person a month who I havent spoken to for a while, just to say hi. [1/33]

Education
  1. Hand in each of my assignments/projects before the deadline[3/??]
  2. Learn conversational Italian 
  3. Do a make up artistry course
  4. Decide on what I actually want to do in life

Health, well being and aesthetics
  1. Go swimming atleast once a week [0/143]
  2. Get a facial
  3. Have my braces taken off within the 2 year mark (by the 19th February 2012)
  4. Get my teeth whitened once my braces come off
  5. Eat fruit atleast once a week [1/143]
  6. Deep condition my hair once a month [1/33]
  7. Get my hair trimmed once every other month
  8. Get a nice summer tan 
  9. Create a fitness regime
  10. Spend a day outside without makeup
  11. Exfoliate face and body once a week [1/143]
  12. Give the 'oil cleansing method' a go - if it works, keep doing it 3 nights a week 
  13. Get clear skin

Purchases
  1. Buy a new car
  2. Buy a notice board
  3. Buy the entire works of Shakespeare

Food and Drink 
  1. Do 'meat free Monday' for atleast a month
  2. Have a picnic
  3. Host a dinner party
  4. Bake someone a birthday cake
  5. Cook 20 recipes that i've never tried before [0/20]
  6. Bake cupcakes
  7. Keep a note of everything I eat for a week
  8. Eat at 5 new restaurants that i've never been to before [1/5]
  9. Bake a pie (sweet or savoury) from scratch, including the pastry
  10. Spend a week without drinking fizzy drinks

For Others 
  1. Do race for life
  2. Volunteer in a charity shop 
  3. Recycle all of my recycle-able items where possible
  4. Register to be an organ donor

Travel
  1. Visit Italy 
  2. Visit London
  3. Go on an all inclusive package holiday
  4. Go on a working holiday in the UK
  5. Re-new my passport
  6. Spend a day at the beach in summer

Crafts
  1. Only give people handmade christmas cards
  2. Craft atleast once a week [3/143] 
  3. Complete a scrapbook 
  4. Decorate a canvas to put in my room

Other
  1. Photodocument a day in my life
  2. Put any money given to me by parents or for birthdays/christmas etc. into my savings account
  3. Sell at a car boot sale
  4. Tidy my room once a fortnight (but try to keep it tidy anyway)
  5. Get over my fear and get a piercing
  6. Start a blog
  7. Once started, keep blog updated
  8. Sort through all my CDs (be brutal!)
  9. Sort through all my books (be brutal!)
  10. Sort through all my DVDs (be brutal!) 
  11. Sort out under my bed
  12. Not log onto facebook for a week
  13. Clear out my email inbox
  14. Write another 101 list
  15. Take '365 pictures in 365 days'
