Oh Happy Day!
We are the proud parents of a new vacuum cleaner! Hooray! We have gone through so many vacuum cleaners. If you think that I moved out at 16/17 and have had at least 4 vacuum cleaners since... maybe more. The first one lasted 4 to 5 years, and the rest have just crumbled.
Perhaps it's the cats or the crumbs or the party stains, but really, isn't that a vacuum's job? We had wanted a Dyson and put it on our wedding registry because you get a discount after the fact. But a bit of digging around led us to this Kenmore. I know Sears and Kenmore and their excellent reputations, but I was surprised by the price. I was also surprised that Dyson was so far down the list, according to Consumer Reports.
This has sensors that tells you how dirty your floor is and when it's truly clean: WOW! No belt, self-propelling, nifty hand-vac tool, and our floor looks so nice. I know, our floors are in the heavy dirt sensor range and we didn't even clean it until it got to the mid-range (it was late at night!) but already the carpets look wonderful and fluffy.
It was disgusting: the cat hair, my hair, random stuff, Mochi's box shredding, Mochi's cat scratcher remnants. YAY! VACUUM!
