friday i started working. tiling pools. i like it, but it's hard work and long 10-hour days. it's worth it. gotta get that government cheese. cash-money flow, as sara would say. and its outside, so as the guy in office space once said... ehhh.
when i got home i went down to tiff's shore house for a visit. i stalled out in the toll booths along the way cause the hott mobile isnt holding up too well these days. finaly got there n met all her cousins, plus some friends who had to leave like 5 minutes after i got there. sarah james stayed though, which was good. she's a cool kid. so we went to the boardwalk, hit up the surf mall, n just wandered a bit. then we went back and watched out cold. we watch that all the time cause its so awesome. "carpe diem! seize the.. carp!" then we walked to mcdonald's and ate in the parking lot like they do in the commercials. they have apple juice juice-boxes now, ooo classy. after all that, we got ready for bed n slept in the livingroom, rambling on about nothing till all hours of the night.
we all got woken up by tiff's cousins kinda early, and after some meandering around the house we 3 went to the beach
it was real nice. tiff didnt wanna go in the water and i only wanted to go in up to my knees cause i dont like me with my shirt off. but after some coaxing and almost being pulled in by sarah, i joined her. we had a good time out there froliking and throwing around the millions of baby jelly-fish. since tiff didnt wanna come in n get her hair wet, we took the ocean to her. big handfulls of those tiny baby jellyfish wound up on her back, and it was funny. they dont hurt or nothin yet, so we arent that evil.
then we went home n cleaned ourselves up n went out on the town for the afternoon. hit up luigi's italian restaurant; good stuff. then we walked up and down asbury n went into a few shops like that hott furniture store, and some hippy place, and the place where u can paint your own pottery. next we hit up the boardwalk and visited the cd shop in the back of some store. i saw some good cd's i wanted. (new atreyu, midtown cd's. mmmmm. i listened to "save the world, lose the girl" on my way down. that title reminds me much of spiderman kinda.) i wound up buying my chemical romance (w00t) and sarah got some glassjaw and tiff browsed cuz she's chill like that. 8-)
then we walked back to tiff's house around 3:00 and packed up. we all said our goodbyes, then sarah's mom picked her up, and i tried to leave. i went to wawa to get a drink, and when i got back out to my car, it wouldn't start at all. bummer. so i called my dad n he had me try a bunch of stuff, n we thought it cudda been the battery or the alternator or sumthin. so my parents came to pick me up, and i just kinda chilled while i waited n listened to my music n dozed off. they got there n got it started sumhow n decided it was bad gas in the engine, plus the car doesnt have much stamina anymore. we went out to eat n i had cajun mahi mahi with alaskan crab clusters. all leftovers accounted for (lunch and dinner combined), i came home with a thing of alfredo, some calamari rings, and 3 big crab legs. i tell you this because im obsessed with food. once i finally got home, jason n shauna came to visit for an hour or so, and we chatted and it was nice.
pretty awesome weekend right there.
