Myspace. Facebook. Online journals. The internet can be be an amazing place for connecting with those far away and even those not so far, but what about when you stumble across those from the past? Some you see and you think 'wow, I haven't heard anything of them in ages!' Some people appear not to be like you remember at all, making you wonder if you ever really knew them in the first place. Chances are probably not. Others you find and you feel like you've unearthed a chunk of the past, one you wonder if you were better off leaving there.
Like in the song 'miles away':
