"Hmm." Wesley grew quiet and serious once more and Giles was curious where the man's mind hand wandered to this time.

"What's wrong?" he asked quietly, leaning forward in his chair.

"Well, actually, I find myself wondering where I'll go from here. I suppose it won't be terribly hard to find a flat and . . . uh, as-as long as my bank accounts are intact . . ."

"You could always stay with me," Giles said with a shrug. He'd actually thought about asking Wesley before. His flat was so damn quiet, and the guest room was more than suitable. It only made sense, given that it was close to everything and Wesley could visit Angel easily, as well as get to the Council Headquarters without too much transportation fuss. This, of course, led him to wonder why Wesley had made a slight squeaking sound.

Wes tried to hide his reactions to the suggestion. On the one hand, his cock began to harden at the thought of staying Giles' home, his . . . bed, but on the other . . . after all he'd been through, it was far too soon to go jumping in headfirst.

Flashes of his earlier orgasm, one fueled by thoughts of this man's hands and lips and scent . . . the image of warmth bodies moving sleepily against one another choosing that moment to reassert itself. His prick hardening further at the though, Wes tired to find the right words.

"Uh, well, uh . . . I'm not so sure that . . . you see, as you know, a lot has, uh, h-happened and, well . . . I just don't . . ."

"Wes, if you don't want the guest room, just say so," Giles looked confused. It took a moment for the words to penetrate Wesley fogged mind.

"Your, uh, guest room?" Wesley cock throbbed, and he blinked, trying to push the images from his mind. Unfortunately, Giles' scent spiked at his words, as if the man had suddenly realized what Wes had been thinking. The arousal in the air did absolutely nothing to lessen the ache in his groin. In fact, it filled his lung and sent a jolt straight to his dick.

"Yes," Giles said with a slight smile and Wesley was only thankful the man wasn't going to address what Wesley had been supposing he meant. God, the last thing he needed right then was to be embarrassed and begin blushing like a bloody fool.

"Uh, right. That sounds . . . quite good, actually. It's, uh, close, isn't it?" He asked mainly to switch topics, latching on to mundane matters. Still, he couldn't help but breathe in deeply.

"Yes. It would be easy for you to come here, or go to Council Headquarters, when you're ready to go back to work, that is . . ."

They lapsed into silence for a few moments, both thinking of their discoveries.

"There's going to be an--" Giles began, just as Wesley said, "We believe there's an--"

Silence again, both of them examining each other. Both smiled in realization that they'd come to the same conclusion, though n either smile was particularly happy.

"Apocalypse," they said together, nodding.
