So. I have a sinking suspicion who gifted me, but...I got six months paid time here. Seriously, Plus accounts are horrible, and Basic are worse. ::smooshes her userpics:: I also changed my default userpic. I know, I know, I hate Aizen, but this one is just cute.
It's been a little while since I posted thoughts on the series here, and I'll admit this much: I still haven't read last week's chapter. Oh, I know what happened; I get my new chapter alerts through bleachness and they come with a synopsis. And...I don't know. Not too fond of the new bad guy. He's like the worst aspects of Aizen and Ginjo rolled into one. And they killed Saskibe! I was sad.
But there are good things. Even though there hasn't been much characterization, I like the two new shinigami introduced. The bits with Ichigo's nakama make me happy. And as evidenced by the fic I wrote a few days ago, the idea of a end to Soul Society and a takeover of Hueco Mundo is interesting (I mean, it was the first thing to break me out of my writing slump, so...yeah).
So I'm reserving judgement. I'll read last week and this week's at the same time, whenever this week's comes out, and see from there. But what are your guys' thoughts? Anything you really like/dislike about this new arc?
