Pick 5 of your favorite animes (in no particular order) and answer the following questions about them:

1. Bleach
2. Samurai Champloo
3. Cowboy Bebop
4. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
5. Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu

Who is your favorite character in #2? Jin

Who is your least favorite character in #1? AIZEN. There is a reason there is a tag on this journal for how much I loathe him. But I also dislike Nnoitra more after I saw him in the anime.

What’s your favorite episode of #4? When Togusa is at the hospital and encounters The Laughing Man.

What is your favorite season of #5? There's only one season as far as I can tell, and I haven't even finished it yet.

What’s your favorite relationship in #3? Ed & the rest of the crew. The way she interacts with everyone is awesome.

Who is your anti-relationship in #2? I really don't like Mugen/Fuu. Won't bash anyone who likes them, though, because I can kind of see the appeal.

How long have you watched #1? Off and on for...well, whenever it started airing on Adult Swim, so maybe five years or so? I started watching it more frequently a year and a half ago, then stopped until I got my new laptop in March, and then watch new eps every once in a while, but I try and watch at least one thing a week.

How did you become interested in #3? I had been told about Adult Swim, and it was the first anime shown the night I started watching,a nd I was utterly fascinated. I think I came in on episode 3? Whatever Faye's first episode was.

Who is your favorite actor in #4? Hands down Mary Elizabeth McGlynn.

Which show do you prefer out of #1, 2 & 5? Bleach, hands down.

Which show have you seen more episodes of, #1 or 3? Bleach.

If you could be any character from #4 who would you be? Major Motoko Kusanaji.

How would you kill off your favorite character in #2? Considering it's Jin, I'd probably have him die in a way where he's upholding someone's honor as well as his own, and he kills the guy who kills him.

Give a random quote from #1 "ITSYGOOOOOOOOO!!!" Seriously, love Japanese Nel a million more times than Dub Nel, and it's all because of the lisp. Another one, which I use as the title of this journal, is a quote from Rukia: "We stand in awe at that which cannot be seen."

Would a #3/4 crossover work? Probably. It might have to involve time travel, though. And Julia and The Major could not be in the same scene because everyone would realize they sound exactly the same.

Overall, which show has a better cast, #3 or 5? 3, only because I'm comparing dub cast to dub cast and Cowboy Bebop has just got amazing voice actors (Steve Blum! Mary Elizabeth McGlynn! WENDEE LEE!!!). Ask me again when I watch them in Japanese...

Which has better music, #2 or 4? Oooh, this is hard. Umm...err...eh...4 wins because it's Yoko freaking Kanno doing the score. However! "Battlecry" by nujabes is the better opening song, and that's saying something because I like both of Origa's songs to GitS: SAC and 2nd GiG ("Inner Universe" and "Rise," respectively), and "Shiki no Uta" by MINMI is a much better closing theme than "Lithium Flower" Scott Matthew and "Living Inside the Shell" by Steve Conte.

meme (which i horribly mispronounce), fandom: ghost in the shell, fandom: bleach, afteriwake is a geek/nerd/dork, fandom: other anime/manga
