Yunho/Jaejoong, Changmin/Jaejoong, Changmin/Taemin (complicated)
NC-17 - R
After a drunken night of passion and ecstasy, Jaejoong wakes to the pleasant ray of sunshine caressing his face due to wide open curtains. He was in an uncluttered foreign room, under soft, azure blankets and beside him, a handsome stranger.
One night stands.
He's never engaged in one before. Jaejoong firmly believed in commitments, most especially monogamy and now here he was, hungover with his back pressed against some older man he met in a bar. After pushing all the events of that perfect night behind him, Changmin finds him then begs to start anew. What happens when he meets the stranger once more, but this time, he's dressed in an ugly sweatshirt, reading the daily newspaper, sipping a cup of strong, black coffee, and introduced as a father... Changmin's father.
CHAPTER THREE (part 2)
“We're here.” Changmin softly murmured unnecessarily while he leaned in to press a gentle kiss on his boyfriend's plump lips. “Ready to make a second impression?”
The corners of Jae's lips crooked up forming a faint smile, looking shy, when really his mind was befuddled with tons and tons of wandering thoughts. The guilt as well as all the confusion settled on his heart again. Guilt because of his past actions with Yunho and confusion because he did not know what to do about it.
Jaejoong had gone over this with himself several times but Jaejoong was stubborn. He refused to take his brain's advice resulting in this awkward relationship with both of them. A part of him didn't want to be entangled in this illicit affair while the other pushed him on, told him to like Yunho more and more... The logical thing to do is end all ties with Yunho but Jaejoong just couldn't do that yet especially now that he has grown attached.
“Come on.” Changmin smiled, holding the passenger seat's door open.
Jaejoong hadn't even noticed the other leave the car and travel over to his side... The thoughts swirling about in his head left him unaware of his surroundings.
They were in the car garage and were currently passing through the doors that connected to the mansion's interior. While they walked inside the quiet home, Changmin couldn't help but bend down and steal a few kisses on the smaller man's nape while both his arms wrapped around his slim waist.
“Changmin.” Jaejoong whispered. “Stop. What if your father sees?”
“He won't, babe. He's probably in his study. Relax.”
“But-”
“Hush, JaeJae.” Changmin said, “I just really miss you.”
“Pabo, we were together all day.” Jaejoong giggled when the pad of Changmin's fingers brushed over his abdomen.
“Yes, we were but honestly Jae,” Changmin pressed his lips against Jaejoong's earlobe, “I miss the intimacy. Little Minnie is starting to become impatient.”
“Well, go tell 'Little Minnie' to wait, baby, now's not the time to... err.. come out.”
Before Changmin could wittily retort, the couple caught an odd wiff in the air. Something smelled like smoke and burnt... ham.
“What the hell...” Changmin muttered, untangling himself from Jaejoong's soft warmth and brisk walked towards the source of the peculiar smell. His father... he couldn't have...
“Dad?”
Changmin eyed the scene before him with slight contempt. What in the world was his father plotting to do? Everyone in this household even his... “mom” knew that Yunho plus a stove or oven equates to utter chaos and mass destruction...
“Oh, hey there, son. Didn't expect you to come home so early.” Yunho said distractedly as he stirred a pot full of soup while also checking the timer on the microwave. The elder man eyed the pot as if it was the hardest contraption man has ever faced and if only the once-pristine kitchen didn't look like a battlefield, Changmin would have laughed. And since the kitchen did look like a battlefield, Changmin immediately strode to his father's side and turned off the stove.
“Dad.... Why in the world are you cooking? Where's Pierre?” Their French head chef.
“Sent him home.” Yunho said while wiping his flour coated cheek with the back of his white polo's sleeve. It was then that Yunho saw Jaejoong's entrance to his kitchen and his breath literally caught.
God, Kim Jaejoong was as ethereal as ever, he thought proudly. No one could possibly rival to his beauty.
“Hi there, Jaejoong.” He muttered, pretending to sound stern and cold, to mask his true desires.
“Good evening Mr. Jung.” Jaejoong said, though, his eyes weren't on his. He stared with unmasked horror at the state of Yunho's once beautiful kitchen. Smoke was everywhere, and he was surprised that the fire alarm had not gone off yet! Pots and pans and knives and spatulas were a mess all over. Some on the floor and some on the counter. A black.... thing (burnt ham) laid pathetically on the kitchen's island counter. Dozens of used pots flooded the sink, water still running, soap suds everywhere. The whole kitchen was an absolute disaster.
“Hey Minnie, can you go fetch my coat. I think I left it in your car.” The raven-haired said, breaking the silence.
“Now? Can't we wait be-”
“Yes now, please, baby.” He pouted convincingly while Jung Yunho eyed the two with obvious distaste.
“Oh alright. I'll be right back.” He muttered unsurely.
Once Jaejoong was sure that Changmin was gone, he threw the very thought of respect out the window and barked to the older man, “What the hell are you planning to do? Burn the house down?”
“No, boo, I was-”
Jaejoong held up a hand to silence the man and sprinted over to the stove. He flipped the knob to a lower heat and continued stirring. Without turning his back to face the other, he said, “Go shower. You're a complete mess. It looks as if it rained flour and you forgot an umbrella. Do you even know how ridiculous you look?” He grumbled irately.
He gasped when he felt arms suddenly wrap around him. “But boo, it's the thought that counts. I'm doing this all for you...” He said while burying his nose within Jaejoong's neck, inhaling the beauty's sweet natural scent.
“You unleashed havoc upon your kitchen just for me? Aww, how sweet. I'm touched.” Jaejoong replied with obvious sarcasm. “Now go! Shower and leave this all to me.” He sensed that Yunho would answer back with a rebuttal so he added, “If you don't leave right now, I won't eat dinner with you and Minnie.”
Yunho grumbled in defeat and trudged off but not before he groped Jaejoong's ass. “Such tight-fitting jeans, Jae, if I didn't know any better, you dressed temptingly for my sake.” He smirked, wanting to have the last word.
“This tastes mindbogglingly amazing!” Changmin moaned as he tasted what Jaejoong prepared for them. “Mmmm!”
“It does.” Yunho said, impressed, while he massaged Jaejoong's thigh from under the table. Jaejoong's response was a swift kick towards the shin that caused Yunho to whimper.
“Dad? You okay?” The tallest asked, momentarily snapping out of his phantasmagoric state.
“Yeah, I'm fine.” He replied calmly. “Forgot to blow. The food was hot.”
His son did not even offer him another glance as he continued to dig in the scrumptious meal. This was the best home-cook meal he's ever had. His mother could cook... but the end result always tasted either flavorless or too dry. Changmin attempted to cook a meal once himself... but the result was tragic, almost as bad as his father's.
Dinner was going by smoothly until Yunho and Changmin decided to play a game of “footsie” with Jaejoong at the exact same moment. It was as if some the father and son had telepathy and decided to tease Jae at the same time. Though, the idea itself was entirely impossible. Yunho needed to be mentally deranged before presenting the idea to his own son.
Jaejoong squeaked at the first moment of contact. Changmin, who sat directly across from him, touched his left foot while Yunho, who sat at the head of the table, touched his right. Both men inwardly smirked thinking it was “their own little secret” between Jaejoong. Yunho didn't even stop only there, he even dared to lay his hand onto Jaejoong's thigh once more. Jaejoong sighed as his cheeks slowly flushed red. Tonight was going to be a long night... He thought while he sheepishly finished his mashed potato.
By eight, the three men were finally done with supper and Jaejoong offered to do the dishes. The two Jungs adamantly heavily declined but Jaejoong insisted while pushing the two to the living room to relax.
“So... what do you think of Jaejoong so far?” Changmin asked quietly even though he knew Jaejoong could not hear them all the way from the kitchen - which was not back to its pristine condition all thanks to Kim Jaejoong.
Yunho, know wearing his specs, cleared his throat before answering, “He's... acceptable.” He said feigning nonchalance. “Are you sure he won't be affecting your studies?”
“Of course not! Dad, I have been dating him for more than two years. Have my grades ever depleted?”
Yunho controlled himself from rolling his eyes at his son's pride. Yes, he knows it's wrong to be that way to Changmin but he couldn't help himself. Jaejoong would strangle him to dead if he finds out they have to “break up” all due to Yunho's unreasonable jealousy. “No, they have not.” He answered his son's rhetorical question curtly.
“And come on, dad! Jaejoong's great! If only you know him longer, you'll see. He's so sweet, caring, thoughtful, intelligent, awe inspiring, and everything. I don't think I'll ever have another if I've already had the best...” The younger man explained truthfully. “I'm only telling you this because you're my father and you really deserve to know... It's been two years and I still feel madly in love with Jae. I can't imagine a life without having his as mine. I'd do anything to protect out relationship. Anything.” Changmin's statement seemed a bit bizarre because this was the most he's talked about him and Jaejoong ever since he introduced the two to one another. The events from early in the afternoon flooded back into his brain. The words Jihoon said replayed in his head and out of anger, he clawed onto the leather seat.
While his father eyed him weirdly, his mind cursed the two people who were ruining his happiness. Lee Taemin and Jung Jihoon. He felt so utterly pathetic because there was nothing he could think of to remedy the situation. But, god damn it, he needed to! He can't let Jihoon touch his Jaejoong. The thought itself made Changmin see in all red. He needed to do something but what?
“Changmin... what's wrong?” Yunho asked, concerned.
“N-nothing's wrong. I'm just... tired. Today's been a long and stressful day.” He said while covering his face with his hands and hunching over. He sighed and decided to explain a little bit more, “There's this guy named Jihoon... he's been causing me problems lately. I am so-”
“I'm home!”
The two males swiftly turned to face the doorway that led to the entrance room and there she was, Shim Haneul.
“She probably needs more money again.” Yunho whispered under his breath.
“Aw honey, why don't you look happy to see me? Don't you miss me, darling?” She remarked while ignoring the presence of her own son who sat on the leather loveseat.
“No.”
She rolled her eyes, not really caring for the answer headed to the stairs. Just when she was about to leave, Jaejoong made his entrance slightly surprising the petite female.
“Who the hell are you?” She asked rudely.
“Haneul.” Yunho said, voice indicating a warning. He did not like the tone she used with Jaejoong. He did not like it one bit. In fact, he was about to stand up and protect his lover from the wild woman.
“Tch. What are you? Yunho's little whore? Is that what you are, huh?”
The raven looked horrified with her words. The truth a little to close to home... Why didn't she mention Changmin? Jaejoong was obviously closer to his age than Yunho's....
“You are, aren't you?”
“N-no I'm-”
“My boyfriend.” Changmin said in a protective manner suddenly standing by Jaejoong's side. The two hadn't noticed his arrival earlier.
The woman named Haneul did not look Changmin in the eye as she merely shrugged and walked away, looking as arrogant as a wealthy aristocrat. Jaejoong did not understand why the women ignored him completely. It was as if Changmin was a mere ghost that she could not see....
Meanwhile, Yunho glared at Haneul with a watchful eye. How dare she act like this? To Yunho, he didn't really care if she flaunted her cold arrogance towards him. Even God Himself knew how Yunho was so used to this treatment. Blatantly calling Jaejoong a whore however... It tempted Yunho to stand up, charge over to the mad harlot, and slap her square on the face. The action also befuddled his mind. On most occasions, Haneul treated his guests with respect and courtesy. What made Jaejoong any different?
“Baby, I'm so sorry about her. She's... I don't know how to explain it... She's...”
“Impossible.” Yunho finished for Changmin. “I can understand if she has angered you.” He said, warm eyes filled with unhidden concern for the raven while his son wasn't looking. “I don't know what's gotten into her.”
“Um, no... it's alright.” Jaejoong spoke quietly. “Uh, maybe I should go... It's getting late and I don't think she'd like me staying a minute longer...”
Yunho stared at the beautiful boy with pity. He didn't deserve to be treated like that especially by a random stranger who barely even knew him. How badly he wanted to reach out to him and trap him in his warm embrace.
“No! Jae, it's only eight! You can't leave yet!” Changmin pleaded while lacing his finger's with his boyfriend's.
“But..”
“No buts, JaeJae. I'm going to drive you home anyway. The driver says stay for another hour.”
He sighed. “Fine, Minnie.”
