inked!
So my evening was a fun one. I vilified. woot!
then after vil I headed out to do what I have been talking about doing for 10 years.
I got a tattoo! It's not finished yet being as it's a good amount of work and it was about 2am when we had to call it a night. but I got it!
So, for someone who hates needles; it wasn't nearly as painful as I thought it would be. sure, some areas were worse then others and scar tissue is nasty, but not that bad. I'm already planning to add to it...even tho it's not completely finished.
Cheesy as this may sound; the pain last night was kind of relieving. It's good to start getting the closure I need.
In the span of 3 days I've taken steps toward getting thru a very bad part of my past. If I'm a little more talkative on it, I'm coping. which is good.
I'm not in a terrible amount of pain this morning. w00t!
If you see me at fest this weekend, I'll warn you...the tattoo isn't finished, there's still some line work that needs to be done along with the color (he explained why he did that and from an artistic standpoint...it makes sense). I go back in 2 weeks to have it finished. so, unfortunatly it won't be finished by the end of festival...unless I heal faster (*note to self; yell at body to heal faster!).
Anyway, I'm going to go make some breakfast and treat my tattoo.
