PLEASE DO NOT HAVE A HEART ATTACK. It's just me.

HEEEEEEEY GUYS.

Things have been weird lately, and I know that's the best time to post, but it's also the hardest time to post. So a brief synopsis of my life follows, feel free to skip.

1. I went to Chicago the week before Thanksgiving. I saw Chuck, we hooked up, then we regretted it, then we talked about our relationship and I cried, and somewhere in there I helped Daniel (who is super-hot and funny and an amazing writer) teach a workshop at SEIU and hung out with Haley. Also, I saw Ingrid Michaelson and the Aquabats. Not at the same show, though that would be amazing, DO NOT STEAL MY IDEA.

Basically, I came, I saw, I made a digital story about it.

2. The day before Thanksgiving, I went on a date with the guy I met at the Ben Folds concert, David. It was nice, he came back here and we maybe kind of made out and then maybe he missed the last BART back into the city and then he might have stayed here butIswearnothinghappenedstoplookingatmelikethat! We had a weird exchange of text messages last Saturday that left me with the impression that he didn't really want to go out with me again, but then he called yesterday. DUDES ARE WEIRD.

3. Amy came in town for Thanksgiving! HUZZAH! I enjoyed having her here, and we saw Role Models (or, as I choose to refer to it, 'Paul Rudd You Are A Sex God Marry Me') and went to Laura's party in the city.

4. Right before Amy arrived, roommate Dave sat me down and admitted he'd been charging me almost double what my rent should have been for the past 9 months and handed me a check for $2700. I used this check to buy this:

and also pay off my credit card. Again, DUDES ARE WEIRD.

5. This weekend, Laura and I co-lead-taught our first workshop. It was ridiculous and stressful. We started with 10 people and, at the start of the day today, we had 6. WE ARE THE JEFF PROBSTS/TIM GUNNS OF DIGITAL STORYTELLING. But everyone got done and that's really the most important part.

6. I saw 'Milk' on Friday at the Castro Theater and it was one of the most unique and fulfilling moviegoing experiences I've ever had.

7. YAY HOLIDAY MEME! DOITDOITDOIT!

8. If you made it through this whole thing, CONGRATS YOU WIN A PONY! Not a real pony. Maybe a My Little Pony or something. maaaaaaaaayyybe.
