Below you will find the summaries available for artists to claim. Only artists who have officially signed up for After Camlann will be eligible to claim a summary.

Summary for Artists: Canon AU. Starts off a hundred years after Arthur’s death but with a bit of time travel, stays around 2x03 for a bit as Merlin tries to be kind to Morgana. Mainly diverges from 5x05 after a bit more time travel and a lot of magic.
When Merlin decides that enough is enough, he takes one last attempt to save Arthur’s life. He’s seen him die hundreds of times, one last try can’t hurt him anymore. He goes back to the fatal decision of refusing the Disir’s offer to embrace the Old Religion. With the help of a note from a past Merlin, Arthur and Merlin make the decision to embrace magic. Though the note reveals Merlin’s magic, which Arthur accepts.
With this knowledge, they return to Camelot only to find that Mordred has worsened. With guilt hanging over them, they legalise magic. Only, now, Arthur has magic, as it had been locked up by the Disir.
Swiftly, Merlin helps Arthur grow with his magic and the two go about their daily routines until Morgana turns up.
Throughout their lives, there would be many twists and turns. They formed a new way to practise the Old Religion. They became the strongest of them all.
But somehow, in the future, Merlin still ends up passing by the Lake of Avalon, as if nothing had happened at all.

More Detailed Summary: Merlin is a trans video games concept artist. He lives with Freya and has a cute white French bull dog (named Aithusa, of course). Arthur is a biomedical engineer who is developing new wrist joints for prosthetic hands. He works at the same company as Morgana and Uther. He lives in a penthouse flat with Gwaine and Leon. He goes to the same gym as Merlin and is beyond obsessed with Merlin’s sexy arms, but they’ve never talked.
Then Gwaine starts a window pane sticky note conversation (https://bit.ly/2M8X3K1) with a flat on the opposite side of their building and gets him, Arthur, and Leon invited over for a film night. Of course, Merlin lives in the other flat, and it turns out Gwaine went to uni with Merlin. They start reconnecting by shagging all day, every day. This means that Merlin (and his cute dog) are suddenly around Arthur’s flat all the time, being funny and gorgeous and no longer available (and also making a lot of waffles in the mornings). Arthur does a decent job of dealing with that, but then Morgana decides to expose their father’s decades-long embezzling scheme, blowing up their family and the careers of several other senior executives.
During the fallout, Arthur has a panic attack and Merlin is there for support. This jump-starts their friendship (and a lot of sexual tension) and one night, in Arthur’s hot tub, Merlin suggests that Arthur come with him on an upcoming business trip to Canada to get away from all the family & work drama. Eventually Arthur decides to go (even though he hates flying and has to drug himself to avoid another panic attack on the plane, and spends most of the flight groggily cuddling with Merlin). While in Canada, Merlin hooks up with his ex-boyfriend Elyan and realises that he probably needs to call things off with Gwaine. (Because the sex is fun and hot but Merlin wants more. What he really wants is more with Arthur, but Arthur is Gwaine’s flatmate and therefore off limits.)
In the end, Merlin calls it off with Gwaine, and when everyone goes out to a club for Leon’s birthday, he and Arthur end up on the dance floor together. They go back to Merlin’s for sexy times and spend the rest of the fic dealing with various career challenges/changes and just fucking everywhere, including out on both of their balconies.

Summary for Artists: There's a new Witchfinder in Camelot. He's younger but smarter, more dangerous and hell-bent on hunting down a sorcerer called Emrys. Fearing the worst, Merlin flees and leaves Arthur only with a letter. But Arthur, being as stubborn as ever and not liking the idea of Merlin out there alone, sets off after him, finding out more about his servant and friend than he'd ever wanted to as a result. Not only must Merlin and Arthur learn how to be friends again, but also how to work together and get rid of the Witchfinder, who's meant to stay by the king's side forever. Art specifics: Hm, this is a Canon AU fic, and mostly a curtain fic -- I'm focusing on relationships and politics, so most of the imagery isn't battle heavy, though it does end in a battle (Camlann, that is). There's an alliance of rulers, so there may be an diverse array of outfits (I'm so into dress porn!). There's also one - make that two - royal weddings on the story, so there's that, too. Lots of dresses, capes, armour, flags, envoys and the magical extravaganza of Camlann. I'm not particular about the type of art you'll produce, though I'd love to get a scene-break if you're a graphic artist :)
Summary for Artists: This story is a Canon AU with two intertwining timelines: TL1, ""present"", follows Arthur et all as they use a ""peaceful"" summer to visit all neighbouring kingdoms in an attempt to create an alliance between Albion's armies to stop Saxon plans for conquering the land - all while Arthur and Merlin try and pretend nothing changed between them with the Magic Reveal that happened in the previous spring. TL2, ""past"", shows the events 3 to 4 years before, when Arthur lifted the ban on magic and how he and Merlin first got together.

Summary for Artists: Pre canon and alternative timeline canon era. This is the story of the events leading up to Arthur's birth and the Great Purge. In this version Gaius and Alice are married. Nimeuh lives in the castle when Uther goes to her for help. When Arthur is born he is sent to Ealdor to be fostered by Balinor and Hunith but things don't go to plan. Arthur returns reluctantly on his 21st birthday to a father he doesn't know. Arthur is left behind at the castle during a battle where Uther dies. He becomes king and restores magick.

Summary for Artists:Modern era. Arthur returns from dead to save Britain at its time of need with some help from Merlin. Only, they don't know what the problem is and who else was revived. The story is mainly about the knights gathering--so Merlin and Arthur travel the world to pick up Gwaine, Tristan, Lancelot, Leon, Percival, Elyan, and Gwen. Not everyone remembers their past and of those who do, not everyone is happy about it either. There are some comedic moments (like doors slamming shut on Arthur's face, a chase in Vegas, Arthur struggling to swing, etc) and some more introspective scenes as they contemplate their memories and if they want to remember and who they are now. Morgana and Mordred will make appearances as well, though not as villains (they are struggling with what they have done). As part of their travels, they go to Australia, Canada, Luthania, America, Central Africa (determining a country now), and England. I'm trying to make sure everyone has a chance to talk to everyone, as this is a mainly friendship fic.
Despite the revival of a big bad, this story will not really get into fighting said big bad. This is mostly about them all organizing and getting ready to fight it.

Art specifics: Hm, this is a Canon AU fic, and mostly a curtain fic -- I'm focusing on relationships and politics, so most of the imagery isn't battle heavy, though it does end in a battle (Camlann, that is). There's an alliance of rulers, so there may be an diverse array of outfits (I'm so into dress porn!). There's also one - make that two - royal weddings on the story, so there's that, too. Lots of dresses, capes, armour, flags, envoys and the magical extravaganza of Camlann. I'm not particular about the type of art you'll produce, though I'd love to get a scene-break if you're a graphic artist :)
Summary for Artists: This story is a Canon AU with two intertwining timelines: TL1, ""present"", follows Arthur et all as they use a ""peaceful"" summer to visit all neighbouring kingdoms in an attempt to create an alliance between Albion's armies to stop Saxon plans for conquering the land - all while Arthur and Merlin try and pretend nothing changed between them with the Magic Reveal that happened in the previous spring. TL2, ""past"", shows the events 3 to 4 years before, when Arthur lifted the ban on magic and how he and Merlin first got together.

Arthur returns reluctantly on his 21st birthday to a father he doesn't know. Arthur is left behind at the castle during a battle where Uther dies. He becomes king and restores magick.

Summary for Artists:Modern era. Arthur returns from dead to save Britain at its time of need with some help from Merlin. Only, they don't know what the problem is and who else was revived. The story is mainly about the knights gathering--so Merlin and Arthur travel the world to pick up Gwaine, Tristan, Lancelot, Leon, Percival, Elyan, and Gwen. Not everyone remembers their past and of those who do, not everyone is happy about it either. There are some comedic moments (like doors slamming shut on Arthur's face, a chase in Vegas, Arthur struggling to swing, etc) and some more introspective scenes as they contemplate their memories and if they want to remember and who they are now. Morgana and Mordred will make appearances as well, though not as villains (they are struggling with what they have done). As part of their travels, they go to Australia, Canada, Luthania, America, Central Africa (determining a country now), and England. I'm trying to make sure everyone has a chance to talk to everyone, as this is a mainly friendship fic.
Despite the revival of a big bad, this story will not really get into fighting said big bad. This is mostly about them all organizing and getting ready to fight it.
