As we are such a global fandom, we understand that this time won't work for everyone. If you aren't available to make a claim yourself, claiming by proxy is allowed.
Claims will be on a first come-first serve basis, however due to the limited number of summaries, the mods asks that if you are already pre-matched with an author that you please allow any artists who are not already matched and participating in the big bang the opportunity to claim these summaries first.
If they are not all claimed in a reasonable amount of time, we will open a second round of claims for any artist who wants to take on more than one story.
All unmatched artists may claim one summary in the first round. (If there are any unclaimed prompts after everyone has picked, artists will be able to claim again in a second round of claims.)
Claiming will be done by making a comment on Claiming Post on this Livejournal.
If you've not used Livejournal before, it's very straightforward. You don't need to have an account to comment on a post, we will allow for anonymous comments, but you will need to identify yourself in your comment. If you have a Livejournal account or are happy to sign up for one, please log into your Livejournal account to comment (we recommend doing so before the claiming post goes up).
To make your claim you will need to click on the Leave A Comment link in the bottom right hand corner. This will open the comment box.
Then copy and paste from the text from the box on the Summary Claiming post, add your own information and then click on Post Comment. Voila! Done. You have submitted yoru claim.
We will get back to people in due course to let you know if your claims were successful.
