Passions/Veronica Mars cross-over dream
I had this really long strange dream last night.
One of the central themes involved an old, rich horrible family that was a combination of the Kanes in "Veronica Mars" and the Cranes in "Passions". There was a foggy lake, or maybe a swamp, and malevolent ghosts that were actually probably artificial projections done by the Kanes/Cranes to scare me off because they didn't want me and whomever I was with at the time to find their hidden/lost treasure.
Another main theme involved witchcraft. I had a bedroom that was also sort of a den of evil or something. In a really big house where a lot of loosely related people (Kanes/Cranes, I think) lived. And several cats. I forget who I was in cohoots with. I do remember that whatever spell I was working on involved hanging this big silk drape up over the top of the door, terrorizing some child that lived down the hall, and that I never completed it.
A random part involved going to one of the Sex and the City character's apartment which was connected to an incredibly expensive department store. I went in wearing an outfit of Carrie's that fit very poorly and was horribly embarrassed. But then I came back in and it fit fine. I toured the apartment and explained to Miranda that the reason they never had anybody over was because their living room table wasn't big enough to play Scrabble on and they didn't have a tv in there.
