Who: Daniel Buzzetti, Rachel Conway, Adam Monroe
Where: Daniel and Rachel's temporary room, Bennet's house
What: Awk-ward?
Daniel wakes up extraordinarily thirsty.
He looks up, blearily, to try and find a clock, to indicate how long he's been asleep, but the room is sadly bereft. At least now he doesn't feel like he'd faint if he stood up, but his throat is incredibly dry, and -
And Rachel is still curled up, right next to him.
Daniel looks down, to her, a twist of unaccustomed fondness twisting through him.
He can't stand this, this up-and-down. How could anyone? No wonder his power developed the way it did. And he resents the feelings that incline him towards Rachel, not just sexually - which is something he's comfortable with - but something more than that. But he can't help them.
Daniel reaches out, towards the bedside table, towards the bell, and accidentally knocks it off, onto the floor. But it makes enough of a crash that he figures the purpose was served.
