Who: Elle and Claire
Where: Bennet apartment
What: Hanging out/Making out
Standing outside on the balcony, Claire looks over the city that stretches before her and she feels the ache in the center of her chest. Soon they would be leaving and heading to Colorado to live on a bunch of farms. That was definitely going to be different but it was a good way to start anew, to build something new and maybe give them a fighting chance in a world that was mostly empty. She was still trying to imagine some of them being farmers and such, she didn't know how that was going to work but they would have to at least give it a chance. She just hopes that she can do something to contribute, maybe gardening or something.
Brushing her hair back from her face, she shivers a little because she hadn't put on a jacket and the air was definitely chilled as it wraps around her. Her arms were cold to the touch and she could feel her feet aching as she stood on the cold balcony. Looking to the street below, she looks for any sign of Elle. A blast of electricity, the sound of shattering glass or even a glimpse of the girl walking back to the apartment. She has been worried about the other girl since she bolted in the middle of the night. She had been tempted to follow but she thought it was better to give Elle some alone time. Plus it had given her some time to get to know Monica, another girl that her father had adopted in a way.
Giving up and needing to get warm, she turns and slips back into the apartment. Shivering, she walks over to the couch and grabs the thin blanket, that she had brought out from her room, and wraps it around herself. Curling against the arm of the couch, she tilts her head back against the back of the couch and waits.
