I'm not sure if I'm on anyone's flists anymore since I rarely update here, but I suppose it can't hurt to try. Posted in my journal and also here in one of the few fandom comms I'm still in just in case.
So!
I bought tickets to Diacon Convention in London in July and to the Ball and now can't go, but am being refused a refund for it. It sucks because I thought I read when I bought the tickets that refunds would be available less a processing fee. Apparently I was mistaken. Sooo, now I'm out 70 pounds ish which is a lot more when converted to Canadian.
What I'm hoping is that someone will purchase them off me and I can just request to have them converted to someone else's name, which they said they can do. Does anyone need a ticket? I'll sell both for cheaper than what you can purchase through the site.
Please help. I'm saving money for a down payment for a house, which is why I can't come, and every penny counts. Plus, it just seems so unfair to have to pay for tickets to something I'm not attending when I requested a refund five months in advance. Pity me!
If yes, contact me by commenting here, or emailing me at alieandvixx@gmail.com.
Thanks in advance if anyone is interested.
