I always like to read the
Science and Space section at cnn.com and see what's going on in and out of this world we live in.
Last week I ran across this article about the
American Pika .
I have a strong feeling that over a short period of time that we will start seeing more and more species of animals slowly or disappear. According to the
Global Warming Time-line the rapid changes that have occured since the early 1900's have been largely attributed to the industrial revolution and all the pollution, overpopulation that we have brought up on our earth. We keep pushing animals out of their natural habitats and moving into theirs.
The feeling of helplessness that many of us now have to this becomes rather overwhelming when the powers that be decide to make their decision's based on a monetary value and not the health of our planet. When I see it affecting our oceans, animals and people that inhabit this earth it sickens me that there is a price that is more valuable than the only thing that we here on earth have... Life!
Just thought I would share my frustration. I know that we can do little things to help, but I feel it will not be enough and my hands are tied. It always becomes an issue when it's too late and too expensive. Pfft! Humans???
Just a little earthly rant ;)
