Finally..
Yeah, so I'm finally updating this. I don't even know when I did last. June? Oh well, who cares..
This weekend rocked my socks. Football game- we won, very exciting. And our halftime show ROCKED. We did the best one I think we've ever done, this year anyway. And people actually watched us and clapped. I think they made the cheerleaders sit there and watch us, but I don't care. They should have to. We suffer through their dumb cheers and play music for them, so the least they can do is sit there and pretend to care. So that was fun. Then I went to Dave's for the partay. Good times. Got to see Leasha, which was awesome. And just being around those people makes me so happy, even if I don't "get involved." Had to go home at 11, though, which was upsetting.
Saturday- BAND DAY!!! I swear to you, this is my favorite day of the year. Had to go to the JA festival first, but it wasn't so bad. We did a miniparade and people watched and were excited, which was cool. Then me and Rob and Jen walked around for a wicked long time, which was fun in a kind of boring way. Then the bus was late, which sucked, but at least Christian made it. At the last minute, but he made it. Bus ride was fun- they always are. But we got there just as rehersal was starting, so we didn't get to just hang out and watch the pit and drumline, which wasn't cool. It was sooo awesome to see alll those tubas, tho. Oh man. They had to split us up in 2 sections, there were so many. So cool. The brass tuba wasn't as heavy as I thought it would be, so I was glad. Me and Rob made friends! The kid who could play 7 nation army on tuba, and Jason. The halftime show was fun, we came out late, but o well. Its all good. Afterwards, we went back to the bus, then back to the game. Me Rob and Jen met up with Jason and hung out with him for a while, which was cool. We watched UMass, amazing as usual. They have NINETEEN TUBAS!!! Do you know how cool that is? You probably don't care, but I think that's wicked cool, and I want a tuba line for my birthday. Bus ride home was sleepy.. Got home at midnight and fell asleep right away.
