wooooo band!!!!
i just have to say that i was completely blown away by our performance last night. i think we kicked some major butt and we're starting to sound like a real band- an orchestra, even. and i loooooove playing tuba. low brass is just so much more easy going than the flute section. not that i have anything against the flutes, i just felt like it was always maria, jasmine, liz...... and then the rest of us. but low brass is awesome. i thought it might be boring not having the melody all the time, but i think we just make the rest of the band sound better.
and i made a new friend! the other tuba kid, brian. he's wicked nice, and he doesn't care that i suck at tuba. we have our own mini-section. its quite awesome.
i think i'm gonna see leasha tomorrow, which makes me happy, cuz i haven't talked to her in a wicked long time. and i need to spill my guts to someone, so leashy, you're the lucky one. go you! heh..
went to il forno tonight for dinner. o man. tortellini alfredo and GARLIC BREAD. i'm so unbelievably full right now.
