I need a nap...

I have a very important question:  Does anyone know or have any idea how to find out if the white chocolate M&Ms will be coming back out?  (Remember the "Pirate Pearls" *cough*RNotCM&Ms*cough*?)  I really really really really really want some...I'm hoping it's not too optimistic to think "Pirate Pearls" might come back for AWE.  Anybody?

And my ( Read more... )

Yes, the nap helped a bit - as did "Master and Commander", which I read until I dropped off, with the nice warm cat on my lap...unfortunately, then my two year old woke up from his nap, and it was dinner time, so I had to wake up. Oh well. Bed time is fast approaching. :-) (Oh, to be in bed...)

Oooh, the cake sounds very yummy - do you add the water before putting in the bottom layer? I love gooey chocolatey carmely things like that...yummmy. :-) I'll have to go pick up a box of chocolate cake mix - I love those boxed mixes; I've made a cake from scratch a few times, and it was way more work and dishes and didn't taste half as good as the boxed mix, so I figure why even bother with all the trouble? (And I have no doubt I'll be getting myself a pint of Phish Phood while I'm at it to comfort myself on a lonely evening.)

I'm almost afraid to go find out all that I've missed... I know you are working on a new fic - but I've got to catch up on the previous fics! Oh dear... ;-) Definitely something to look forward to. :-)

;) In my family, we have a rule that we can only make it on special occasions. I don't want to begin to imagine how fat I'd be if we made it at other times.

I like making cakes from scratch from time to time, but only because it makes me feel all accomplished. The boxed mix tastes better and makes less mess.

Don't add the water to the bottom layer, except for what the mix says, of course. Only the second half of the batter do you add a bit of water.

Well, fic-wise, I've updated my fic guide up to the story I'm currently working on. It's in chronological order of the AU rather than when I wrote it, so scan it to make sure you haven't missed anything. :)

heh heh, yes, it's best that certain things are reserved for special occasions. Especially considering what sugar hounds some of us are (that would be in reference to me, but I doubt I'm alone ( ... )

:) I figured a fic guide would help people who had wandered to my journal by chance to figure out what order to read them in and hopefully to comment on said stories (yet another instance of my tendency to be a feedback whore surfacing there ;).) Memories can't do that. It took me a whole day it seemed to get everything set up, including linking each installment together and making the graphic, but I think it's worth it.

What better excuse for chocolate than "tired, headache, and pregnant?" Of course, I sometimes think I use anything as an excuse for chocolate! (My distress comfort foods are chocolate and soda) lol.

I usually find that the time put into organization is worth it (and graphics just make it all the better, heh). :-)

I haven't written enough to merit a fic guide, LOL, so I figure putting them in my memories will do, since there is no particular order to them.

Hee hee, I think, "I've just had lunch and have a tiny bit of room left" is a creditable excuse for eating chocolate. :D (baaaaad, I know, I know...) Except with being pregnant, sometimes it upsets my tummy. :-( But then, it seems *everything* upsets my tummy on one day or another. :-P

I'm actually not much of a soda drinker, except lately, in the vain hope that the caffeine will help the headaches, as my doctor recommended (since I can't take no-doze, which did really help). Hopefully I don't get hooked on them. ;-)

LOL that you said 'feedback whore'! My younger sister came home from college with that expression - well, not the feedback part, but the '____ whore' part, which at first I was like, 'what did you say??' but now I use it too. :D But not in anyone' ( ... )

My mother would freak if I said some of the things I say at college, though she'd freak more if she knew about me reading slash. (I've never told her that I write fanfiction either. It's a personal thing, and I don't think she'd understand.) :)

I had really bad tension headaches for awhile until I started going to a chiropractor and doing neck excerises. I wish I had a miracle cure, but besides caffeine and excedrin, I don't.

ditto with my mother, on all counts. :D (except, since I don't go to college, it's limited to LJ or my head, LOL).

Headaches are just eeeeevil. :-(

And, I suppose, with that drabble challenge at rnotc, I've started writing a bit of slash as well. Now, THAT would positively give my mother fits!

*sends sympathy for headaches*

And you thought you couldn't write slash. :-) (oh goodness, I've so much to catch up on...)

Well, I suppose technically I've barely tried so far...but this thing is rapidly descending into smut. ;)
