The Long and Winding Road

It has been a while, my friends. Those of you who read and care, I am fine. Things are going well and I can't really complain. I have been actively in the job market searching for the opportunity to make decent money and I have also scheduled some classes to hopefully boost my miserable graduated GPA so I can perhaps attend a Masters Program and get some "real" education. Cynicism is key these days but in a grand way.

I am being careful these days to make correct decisions to positively affect my future life. I have finally, at my age, HAH!, grown up to an extent. I have been attending Catholic mass regularly. Do I consider myself Catholic? I'm not sure but it's an invigorating experience that, more than informing on Christianity, I hear life lessons and ideas. Where this path will lead, I have no idea.

Other than that, I have been doing well. I got my sweet laptop fixed (FOR FREE VIA WARRANTY) after spilling (shh) orange juice on it. They replaced the motherboard and I didn't lose a thing. I rule.

Laura and I are good. It's been great and continues to be so and the infamous "m" word (marriage for the slow-witted) has been tossed about frequently and with increasing rapidity lately. I suspect before the end of this year to expect an update on that topic (I can say this with confidence as the ball is, afterall, in my court).

But besides all of this, I do miss my friends. I know I haven't seen or spoken to most of you in a while. For those in close proximity to my hometown this is especially troubling since I no longer make it there with great frequency or for extended periods. I am, however, working on a plan to correct this so I may see my people again. I do miss you.

I never realized how much working at night can destroy a life and the want to do things. I get home at 11:30 at night and either things are closed or I'm tired. I get up in the morning and I only have a few hours before I have to eat and get ready. It leaves so much to be wanted and drains me of wanting to do anything. That's why the job search is on!!

So to those of you whom I consider friends and those that consider me one, I hope all is well with you and yours and your endeavors.

Until the next!
