Some poems.

Oh Folly! Oh murky waters!
Oh how we sink, knee deep,
in water we poured from
a second-story window
but minutes earlier.
Muddy and tired we press on.
Oh how we sink, waist deep,
in mud from water poured
from a second-story window.
Is there not a cleaner?
Do we not have a bucket?
Forget a bucket!
Forget it, oh cleaner!
We must press on, shoulder deep,
in this mud we have created.
Where is our leader?
Why were we told to walk
this way?
He knew this path's journey.
He knew.
We knew.

Love sits on a rainy day,
Quiet and comfortable,
listening to the
pat-pat-pat
of the rain on the
doors
windows

Love sits on a sunny day
Awake and refreshed
listening to the
chirp-chirp-chirp
of the birds on the
wires
fences

Love sits always waiting
Quiet and comfortable
Awake and refreshed
for you and I
to take her hand
and listen to all the
world around us.

A
four
line
poem

Rainy
sunlight
Rainy
sunlight
Nature's patterns
predictability
within chaos.
Rains
Floods
Snow
Death
Destruction
Warmth
Sunny
Breezy
And man think
he is all-powerful.

Sing for us but one song
Before bed
So that we may lay
our heads down
and dream softly into
the night.
"Then let me sing to you
this one song I
learned back when
I was a babe
like you."
It's sweet and
short and brings
upon sleep.
And it will keep
you safe all night
through.
It's love, it's love.
Forever the song to sing
is love.
