Anti-hero: definitely what becomes Walt, even more in s4.
Break the cutie: Poor, poor Jesse at the end of s3/beginning of s4, who is more broken than before.
Fire-forged friends: Walt & Jesse, after everything they are going through.
Drugs are bad: Jesse's bad drug addiction.
Dramatic irony: Walt trying to kill himself in the first episode. And failing.

Bowties are cool: Defines 11, pretty obvious.
Aliens of London: Even kinda the name of an episode.
Anyone can die: Rory dying, again, in 6x03.
Driving question: Basically the most important question of the show, no?!
Replacement goldfish: Martha realizes really soon that she's just a replacement of Rose from the Doctor :(

Black and gray morality: pretty obvious for Luther. He doesn't hesitate to make "awful" things to win at the end.
Broken bird/Troubled but cute: Perfect definition for Jenny!
Cowboy cop: He may wear a toxedo, he stills walking like some kind of old cowboy and has his own way to do justice.
Evil redhead: The first episode shows that's definitely what Alice is.
Friendly enemy: They started to be enemies to finily ended-up being friends.

Ridiculously human robot: Henri is a robot who doesn't know he's one.
Future badass: The Future-Visitor is evil. And badass!
The end of the word as we know it: This song is used during all the closing credits of s1! It basically defines the show too.
The time traveller's dilemma: Yeah, because to try to make his present better, the Visitor goes to our present past and may erase himself. A risk he's ready to take.
Good is not dumb: Firstly presented as the dumb character of the show, Mattéo becomes more brave with time.
