THE CONCERT!

I went to the concert, and I have to say it was absolutely PHENOMINAL! Oh my goodness, Jeremy just knows how to put on one heckuva show.

Steve and I waited outside the theatre together, that was special...

The first act was Bethany Dillon, she was pretty good, I was impressed with her.

She kinda reminded me of Mary Beth, so that made me smile.

Then, came the AFTERS! WOOT WOOT! I didn't get too many good shots of them though because they were jumping around the stage the whole entire time and the pictures always came out blury, this is the best I got...

Then, of course... came the main attraction... JEREMY CAMP!!!

He started off playing "You are Worthy of My Praise" and then he lead into "Lay Down My Pride." After that, he started sharing a personal testimony...

He said, "One year ago today I became a father, and my daughter, Isabella is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my whole entire life. I love her more than life itself. She's at that stage right now where she's beginning to learn how to talk, she can almost say, 'momma' and 'dadda' but not quite. She just makes sounds, little baby noises. Now see, my wife and I, we don't swear, and we don't bring anything into our house with swearing, music, movies, television, nothing with swearing is allowed in our household. My daughter is learning to speak, and this certain sound she makes sounds like a swear word. It's really bad, and I can see now that later on down the road she's going to give me some major problems. I would bring her out here to try to get her to talk to you guys, but I'm afraid that she'd swear at you. We all just recently got back from Hawaii, and my daughter was kinda sitting in the sand behind my wife and I. So I turned around to look at her and there she is with a cigarrette butt in her mouth. Can you see it now? My daughter is only 1 year old and she's already smoking and swearing." Everyone started laughing, and he said, "Little sinner... oh well, I love her. I love my daughter so much, and I was reflecting on this a few days ago. If I, being a human being, can love my daughter, and my love is conditional and fallen and imperfect, as much as I do, how much more does our Heavenly Father love us?" Then that led into him playing "Take You Back."

It was the pefect lead in, and it was absolutely incredible! That picture isn't really of him playing "Take You Back" because I took a movie of that song! The concert was incredible and it's official, Jeremy Camp is my role model. You could just tell by when he was talking about his wife and girl that he is just a complete man of God who trusts in the Lord and loves his family with all his heart. I want to be like that someday. He can lead worship with the best of them though, and like, surprisingly, when I was listening and praying along with him, I thought of Matt, and I was like, "Jeremy is good, but man, does Matt know how to lead worship." So Matt, you've got my #1 spot for worship leader! I'm very glad I went to the concert though, it was a great experience!
