hello!
Recent events have included Snow patrol n Creamfields 2006!
Me n the wee fella travelled to edinburgh slightly hungover from the prevoius nite at the garage n decided that a pizza hut buffet was a far better idea than a liquid lunch! After lunch we had a long conversation on the subject of wot animals we as humans cld take on in a fight! On to the meadowbank stadium where 5hrs were spent doin not very much until Snow Patrol came on. as expected they were amazing n thoroughly enjoyabale time was had! look forward to seein them again in December i think it is!
On saturday we turned up to the creamfields bus with our booze weel disguised only to find everyone else carting on crates n crates of booze without a care in the world! Clearly we had made a grave error n our one litre of vodka between 4 wasnt goin to get us very far! bus journey was a gd laugh but to our surprise it wasnt taking us all the way to the venue. we were dropped off at a service station miles away from site! Us an about 9000 others. 10 shuttle busses to transport us all n not a policeman or security in sight! As u can expect it was a bit of riot! Decided the best plan (really dont knw whose plan it was n why on earth we followed it) was to get directions n walk the 3 miles we were told it was! Well, either we took a wrong turn or the directions were wrong but when the TOTAL LEGEND OF A GIRL stopped to give us a lift we were walking in the total wrong direction! To be honest i think i love this girl for stoppin, woulda been royally fucked without her (she was pretty hot aswell).
Anyway finnaly got into creamfields at about 6pm, got some booze then danced solidly for about 6hours to the musical heroes that are Armin Van Bueeren, Paul Oakenfold n Tiesto! They were all amazing but Van Bureen was totally off the hook! random guy even applauded us on how much fun we looked as tho we were having! Saw a bit of Ferry Corsten n Paul Van Dyk n i was looking forward to rounding off the last 4hrs by taking in the talents of Eddie Halliwell followed by Felix Da Housecat but the troops were lagging n wanted to return to the bus!
All in all in it was a quality day but not sure if i wld do it again next year! Not staying to the end pissed me off a bit n put a bit of a downer on the whole thing. Also, there wasnt a particularly great atmosphere n u didnt feel overly safe all the time! Bus back was pretty dire aswel!
Think a better idea next year wld be either Global Gathereing or the Rockness weekender!

Wee John: "thats a sorry state to be in at tea-time" (at the sight of someone fucked out there face on pills)

Hot Irish Girl: "your pretty" (yas!)

Nicky: "we just need to make sure we dont mix the bags up"
Jonny: "we only have one fucking bag" (seems quite easy to confuse jacko these days)
......
Jonny: "u alrite?"
Peter: "just spewed"
Jonny: "u want an aftershock?"
Peter: "of course i fuckin do!" (always a great plan after bein sick)
......
Scouse guy: "get your ponchos, chewing gum n glow sticks here! 100% stolen guranteed!" ( such a scouse thing to say lol! nearly persuaded me to buy sumfin!)
......
Nicky: "u guys r the worst best friends i have ever met!" (first one of the guys ditched his mate in the middle of the countryside to get a lift with us, then he got his own back by leaving him to find his own way back from creamfields after he was late for the bus!)
......
think u kinda had to be there lol!
