Boys are so frustrating. We all knew that. So why do we bother getting attached to them and then killing ourselves over them when they start to lose interest? Or just you know, become really ignorant and whinge about everything and never call us back? What do we do in that situation? Give up and pretend all that awesome stuff never happened? Or just walk away and take what we want with us. That's probably a better choice, and also oh so hard. Especially when there's some sort of unresolved conflict, and this whole thing came out of nowhere. Summer's brought some pretty heated discussions...maybe they'll cool off in the fall, when school starts? I hope so. I'm not quite ready to let everything go.
