Patch Days
A friend sent me this link on how people spend patch days while waiting for servers to restart. I think my favourite is the comment about how its good a wife doesn't use the same updates for dinner:
"I'm just glad my wife doesn't make dinner like Blizzard makes patches. Could you imagine the messages you would get at work?...
Your wife called. Dinner will be ready by 6pm.
UPDATE: Your wife is continuing to work on cooking tonight's dinner. Food preparation for all family members will be extended until 7pm.
UPDATE: Your wife is continuing to work on cooking tonight's dinner. Food preparation for all family members will be extended until 9pm.
UPDATE: Your wife is continuing to work on cooking tonight's dinner. Food preparation for all family members will be extended until 11pm.
UPDATE: Your wife is trying to cook a turkey in a toaster oven. She will provide an update by 12am that will extend preparation to 2am.
UPDATE: Your wife has disconnected the phone line for "maintenance". However, we believe her true intention in doing so is simply to prevent you from QQ'ing about her repeated epic dinnertime failures."
