Friendship

Its about a hell of a lot more then going out, having fun, and hanging around.

Its about who is going to catch you when you fall.

As we move one from our teens into our twenties, something happens. We become less dependant on what we knew, and more dependant on whats around us. For some people, that's scary, and not easy. Others make the transition just fine.

I had an expierence with a friend tonight, someone who I love very dearly, that made me really understand this. I'm not going into details, but it was a powerful expierence. It was one of the first times that I've held someone up, when I know she'd do the exact same. We both don't like showing emotion. We both keep it in, and help everyone around us.

Its things like this that make me realize that this is where I belong.

And now, some lyrics... ha.

Please, swallow your pride
If I have things you need to borrow
For no one can fill those of your needs
That you don't let show

Lean on me, when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend
I'll help you carry on
For it won't be long
'Til I'm gonna need
Somebody to lean on

Good night.
