Oh Johnny...
Went to see The Corpse Bride tonight with Jenny. Last minute plans. Glad we decided to suck it up and just go. It was quite enjoyable. Didn't dig the songs all too much, though. Not Danny's best work. Something about the songs just didn't sit right. But the writing was clever and the movie itself was good. But I wonder - Is it sad that I could completely relate to Emily (the corpse bride)? I mean, I'd go into details, but that would give away part of the plot and ending. But, this was a good one. I even had to fight back tears. And not the happy kind. It was just a moving tale. And overall - I give it a thumbs up! =)
