And I'll never understand, why I'm such a selfish man!
The past few days have been pretty jampacked. It's been a very good thing for my mind and body. I really wasn't diggin the whole sadness and feeling like shit mood I was in a few days ago. Anywho. Moving onto what's been going on. Wednesday I got up and walked to El Pollo Loco for lunch, and then walked back. Made my route 20 min there and 20 back. It was nice because I was feeling gross from just sitting and not walking. Then I saw Wedding Crashers and went to the beach with my friend Joe. He's a friend from high school that I see every so often. He grew up a lot between the last time and this time. The movie was hilarious by the way. I greatly recommend seeing it. I also realized I had lost my license today. So, I've been driving without a license on hand. I have an appointment at the DMV on Tues to get a new one. Such a hassel and I'm really bummed b/c I've never lost anything like this before. Oh well.
Yesterday I got up for the cable guy (Our cable is finally fixed. I get Noggin again! I can watch Degrassi! Wow, I'm a nerd) and then I got ready and headed to Orange to meet up with Evan. We walked to the Japanese restaurant in The Circle. So good. Sushi was delish. Ended up sitting in Starbucks and talking for hours. It was a nice talk. First I think we've ever really sincerely had in all these years. Then Evan wanted to take a nap, so I left his apartment at around 7. Aaron called me and I met up with him at his apartment (same complex). Went to the pool. Talked. Basically hung out until around 11 when Martha got out of Disneyland. Then I headed to her new apartment and hung out there for a little over an hour. Came home and didn't get to sleep til about 4.
Today I had to be up at 6:30 AM to go with Martha and her roomie, Kat, to Central Casting for a meet and greet with the booking agents. Kat and I retook our pictures because we've changed since the last one. Like, my hair isn't brown anymore. We all called in and are working on Without a Trace this Monday. So that means that Sunday I shall stay at their place and we'll all go together. It'll be fun. Moving on. After the Central Casting thing, we headed back to Orange and went to Pat & Oscars as Kat was working. Jenny came and met up with us for lunch and I left with her. Jenny took me home and I relaxed for a little while before Nick came to pick me up for the fair and Goldfinger, Vandals, Flogging Molly show. The show was pretty good. Missed most of Goldfinger because we're dumb. But that's cool. I've seen them. Saw Shasta a few rows in front of us. Megan and Dave Compton were in the pit and we had a phone convo while looking at one another across the crowd. Also saw Dave Goedhart and Robbie. The highlight of the night, though, was running into Chris Batstone. That was random. He was very drunk. I love that guy. Then I went to tell Nick who he'll never guess I saw and I turn around and Chris is standing right there. Very weird, but cool. I miss that guy.
Now I am home and about to go pass out even though I just ate a whole bunch of food and that's how you gain weight. Tomorrow I think will begin with a walk. I need to take one whenever possible these days. Other than that, my day seems to be mostly free as of now. I'll most likely meet up with Jenny sometime, but i'm just playin it by ear.
