So, this is long but I really felt the need to work through all of my different thoughts so...here they are! Let me know what you think. :)

Note: Not as angry as last night's tweets! Hehe.

Yeah, exactly, I would have rather the time been spent on something else, definitely Cas and Dean ♥ LOL!

With human!Cas what I was looking forward to was seeing how the brothers dealt with him and hopefully stopped him from becoming future!Cas. I guess I'm just really worried about what place he will have in Season 6 now and I need Cas to be in it. I'll be so sad if that's it. But I agree that, for Cas, it is really nice that his faith has been rewarded by God :)

Hmm, yeah, interesting thought regarding how this fits in with Lucifer's attitude to Gabriel. He had absolutely no qualms about killing his brother then. I guess it just comes down to Michael and Lucifer being closer, like Sam and Dean.

I'd hope that Chuck hasn't been God all along because that really wouldn't make sense. I guess the point is that it's left up to individual interpretation. I still don't like the Kripke!Chuck comments much but then I'm not a huge fan of meta.

Generally though, I'm warming up to the episode but there are just some things I won't ever like much. Also, please can Cas be in Season 6, Sera?! Please!!!

A fellow Cas/Dean shipper? ;) I also really like them, doesn't even have to be shipped.

Okay, good point. I think it would be indeed intersting to see how Cas would cope with that, but I like his angelic grace more. How such an otherworldly being gets along on earth with other humans and the humor in his awkward behavior. :) That won't just stop when he is human of course, but Human!Castiel will always remind me of his future self and make me go eww XD
I think he will be a regular character in the next season. It doesn't even depend on him being an angel and therefore too powerful or whatever in my opinion, but just that he is so popular and got the quotes for the show up. If I'm not mistaken, because of that there IS another season and it just doesn't make sense to take him out of the show in this case.

That is possible. I just can't get over how easily he killed my beloved Gabriel. He was such a great character. Okay, but his final act was worth it. XD

No, I really don't think so. Chuck is just too much... Chuck to be God. :) He also grew up during the series, just like everybody else and thus can play his final role.
My, I'm going to miss these guys... Hey, but I'm very happy you're warimung up to it! :)
I'll beg Sera on my knees if that'd help~

I am a HUGE Dean/Cas shipper. I love them so much ♥ And you're right, a lot of the time (although less recently) it's practically canon! Haha

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, I love angelic Cas too I just fear that the writers will think, 'Oh, we can't have him around because he's too powerful and would just be able to provide an easy fix for things' and then there would be no more Cas :(

I agree that Cas and Misha certainly have A LOT to do with the popularity of the show and the writers really would be stupid to get rid of him. Unfortunately, I don't have enough faith in them NOT to do something that stupid.

Hmm..yeah, I think the Chuck question is puzzling a lot of people, especially regarding for how long he was God and I guess we'll never know for sure.

I'm going to miss Supernatural so much! Got at least 3 and a half months to wait, maybe more! AAH!

*begs with you* :P

Me too :) At first I merely disliked Wincest - not the fans and not because of incest, just because I did and do not get it. But after Sam and Dean's relation was so screwed up and got harder to bear every episode, I was so glad for a back-up character for Dean. And what an intersting one we got! Have to love Cas <3

That's exactly what one friend also fears. She practically shares your point of view, just a lot more pessimistic about that episode. XD
So far quite every guess I made regarding upcoming episodes became true and I'll continue to hope for season 6. ;) No need to fear it yet and as long as there are no horror news, I am enjoying the anticipation.

Did you notice that Chuck is officially God's alter ego? It's stated in the Super-Wiki. Wow, didn't expect that. So there remains just the question how long he himself is aware of being God.

Me too. I just got into it a few months ago after watching season 4 &5. (I'm german and here aired 2 seasons so far, now 3. |D)
It was so exiting finally following a series up-to-date, not belatedly when it finally airs here and half of the fandom has watched the original and already lost interest.
Now no waiting for the next Thursday anymore... T-T
Oh well, let's just hope for season 6.

The thing with me is that the reason I started watching the show in the first place was because I kept hearing about this character Castiel and how amazing he was! Then after waiting 3 seasons for him to appear I was like, he better be as good as everyone made out, and he was! And his relationship with Dean was just fantastic! And so much slashy potential :P

Well I hope your predictive powers hold up and you're right again in this case :)

I still think that Chuck was probably meant to be God the whole time, even though it doesn't make sense to me. Oh well!

Yeah, as I said, I only got into Supernatural after season 4 aired too so this season was my first time watching it live. It makes the suspense so much worse! And now all the waiting!

Season 6 can't come quick enough.
