We have a
nuthatch that spends a good deal of its time bounding up and down on the tulip poplar right outside my window. I enjoy it, and it's incredibly cute and bouncy, but very distracting. Whenever I get really focused on something, it starts bouncing around in my peripheral vision, and my eyes are hardwired to notice and track the bounces. I'm trying to do real work here! Stop being cute!
My todo-list for the rest of the week:
-- get interactive visualization working for over-time, aggregated, and animated data displays
-- implement a basic diff with the ability of later adding extras on to it (like, weighting and non-uniform bucketing)
-- write stuff to soothe sarahp's curiosity!
-- do my application for the google policy internship - write a personal statement, etc
-- visit Ekta!
-- sew the pinned parts of my quilt before the pins destroy it (that would be either today or tomorrow)
-- get remaining presents for people
Yes, my life has become boring enough that the most interesting thing I have is my todo list.
