well its been a long time so this may be a long entry. school is going well , i have managed to maintain a "a" in both my classes. Timothy is growing like weed in a flower bed and is so close to walking full time. he stands in the middle of the floor and take five or six steps and then sit back down and crawl again. labor day john surprised me with a phone call and said he would be in raliegh in two hours and that i should come get him. it was a nice surprise but i wish he had told me he was on his way home. it felt so good to have help around the house while he was here. he left on the 21st to go back to afghanistan so he just missed being here for our b-days but we kind of celebrated with his dad and step-mom while they were here for the week-end before our b-days. we got family photos taken while john was here( before the rest of the family got here so it would just be pictures of the three of us thank goodness) which turned out way better than we had hoped since we had them done at walmart. the girl taking the photos was amazing i am still in shock. the last walmart photographer we had was cross-eyed with 1/2 inch thick glasses and was about 1 minute too slow at clicking the shutter when my son did smile. but this girl got TJ to smile for every picture which was awesome. we ordered the big package because we couldnt decide which one was the best. then i told my friend who has a 6 week old and she did the same thing for her. anyway.
so my family got lots of family time with john when he was home which my son and i have both been craving. i have missed watching them play together and going places as a family and haveing my better half around to talk to. we went to parks and timothy love the slides and the swings and we ate out a lot. i dont get out much so it was a tyreat for both of us to be able to eat out. i finally ate at long john silvers for the first time ever which turned out to be way better than i thought it would be. and when john dad came to town we treated them and ourselves to miyabi since we had never eaten there either. it was awesome and tj was so entrigued by the cook. i ate sushi with john which was better than the sushi i tried in korea a few years back. then they did what i am assuming to be the japenese version of happy birthday for me and tj. they johns step-mom insisted on icecream so we went to baskin robins and she bought an icecream cake in the shape of a train which was really cute and tasty. then tj opened his presents.......a few more very expensive 2004 coins i think the gold one was upwards of 400$ which if you ask me is rediculous for a one year old to have but its also a nice investment and hobby for my son when he gets older. so in the end it was a great gift. also he got some toys that make noise ( eye-roll) and a few new outfits and i got a few outfits that are so nice im scarred to wear them anywear....(plus i havent been going to the gym so i have gained some weight back and the new clothes are a little tight.) i also got my hair cut but i did it at walmart and it was cut crooked so i refuse to ever get a $12.50 hair cut ever again. then they left and johns mom flew in and she got tj some cool toys that make noise and she helped out with the party wich was a huge hit. it was a construction party and it was decorated way cute. he got lots of clothes which was really good since he has way too many toys. and my gift from her was a new set of nails which i really like. they are clear and some people have asked if they were my own cuz they look good which makes me feel good. i keep them relatively short since i am always typing and i dont want to scratch my son.

on my selfish side ......i wish i had known john was coming so i could have had everyone fly out after he left but everything went a lot better than i thought it would. and that pretty much sums up all of september.
