Excellent news, Izzy! I hope you find the job enjoyable. I'm sure Jacinta and Edward would be the last people to mind bumming, but I certainly understand the desire to not be the one doing said bumming.

It'll be good! And yeah, I think Jacinta was hoping I wouldn't get a job so she could see me all the time. I told her I'll visit but she made woeful sounds. I think she's lonely!! Have you ever had to bum, David?!

I've done my fair share of bumming! Usually from Peter and Deirdre, when I was... between jobs, as they say. But I'm all solvent and the like now, so huzzah for that. I'm sure Mama will live. Dad can distract her from the woe with something pretty...

Oh, the reasons are many and varied. These things tend to snowball, one leading to another. It was largely to do with her sordid little affair with Richard O'Doherty. After he got put away for rape, Amaris became rather set on revenge.

Thank you, Isabella. Keeping away from her really is the best policy. She's cunning, thriving on knowledge. We always have to be very careful not to give anything away in our encounters. Thankfully, however, it seems as though she's slunk back into whatever hole she crawled out of for now.
