Hey, David? Why's Aly hiding at Jacinta and Edward's on her son's first birthday? I came over here to bum breakfast like the bum I am and she was in the kitchen. I asked her where Peter was and she refused to answer. Something fishy is going on and I don't like it!

Oh dear, that's very strange. I have no idea, Izzy, I haven't heard anything about it. I shall have to look into this...

You're always welcome here too, by the way, for anything. You'll find your feet soon, though. I know you will.

Yes because I'm worried and I already tried and it didn't work. Tell me what happens, okay?! Alyona's being weird.

I know I am, David, thank you. I just need a job. Maybe then I could afford...you know, like, food?

Hardly uncommon, the weird, but I know what you mean. I'm worried too...

You're very welcome, Izzy. I'll certainly keep my eyes open for anything that looks like it might be up your alley. Did Mama give you food to bring back with you, too?

I hope everything's okay.

No, but she only didn't because she wants me to go there to get it which is fine with me! It's okay, David. The one thing I know I'll never have to worry about is getting fed. I'd just like to support myself sometime in the near future. Thanks for looking out for me.

I spoke to Aly, and everything's fine. Peter was overtired, and said something stupid, but they worked it out. It wasn't a big deal, they just needed space to cool off and rest. Everything is perfectly cleared up now. Peter knows he did the dumb thing, and let me tell you, there's no one who can apologise like Peter. I'll bet there were flowers.

You're always welcome, Izzy. I understand the drive to support oneself, I didn't feel too great about the situation after I lost my job at the uni. Thank goodness for Deirdre saving the day with the theatre! I like that job more, anyway.

Oh good! I didn't want it to be horrible, they're so cute! He's very pale... And I hope there were flowers!

I'm glad you like it, David! I love seeing you happy. And whimsical. You're adorable when you're whimsical.

Certainly not horrible, they're well back to the cute now! He is dreadfully pale, isn't he? Not even the Valencia sun seems to cure that...

I think I have a fair store of whimsy to call on at the moment!

He turned sort of red in the sun!! When he wasn't glowing and hurting my eyes...

Wonderful to hear! Use it at little Thomas' party! See you there?

That was a rather impressive shade, wasn't it? Poor man. Not like us fortunate Spanish souls!

As if I would be anywhere else, sweet Izzy. You shall indeed see me there.

I do love my skin!

She said, without any hint of vanity, of course not.

Perfect!

I think a beautiful woman like you is entitled to a bit of vanity.
