Soooooo....Saturday was GREEEEEEAT! I had an awesome time with Lynn and Stephanie. It was the first day that I found myself forgetting about the pain, discomfort, and lack of energy and it was, for lack of a better word, - GREAT.
So the fun times included the following activities
Lynn, Stephanie and I went bowling in which I got the best score I ever gotttt! I still lost, but it was my personal best performance.
Then we went to Moes (my first time there) - I think we all ordered homewreckers. It was good. Not spectacular, but good.
Then we went across the street to Friendly's and waited a ridiculous amount of time for our server to take our ice cream order, but it left us time to talk and that was nice.
We said good bye to Lynn....that was sad. :-( (damn wedding shower) lol.
Stephanie and I went to paint some pottery at plaster fun time. Stephanie painted a wall hanging which came out beautifully. I cannot wait to see it hanging in her apartment. I picked a way too labor intensive pen holder, which I could not finish by closing time and need to go back and finish some day. It was intricate and demanded more motor control than I had to offer as my hands started to tremor half way through our time there. Stephanie finished the flower for me as I had mixed my own color and didn't want to have to struggle create it again upon my next return - thank you, Stephanie!
Then we went to AC Moore for some craft shopping. That was fun. Stephanie and I were like kids in a candy store, however, she spent all the money and I restrained my ache to buy everything I liked. hahaha. Way to exercise self-restraint.
We stopped by Newbury Comics for a copy of Mel Brooks' History of the World, unfortunately the location we stopped at did not have a copy and I did not know where the Newton location was to go and get it. I'll find it...soon.
After that we went mini-golfing. It was a comical spectacle. I believe the 7yrs old kid behind us played better golf. hahaha. We had fun and that's what matters. I got a few whole in one's but never at the hole that allowed you to subtract points from your score, but they were whole in one's nonetheless.
Finally, we ended up getting some dinner at California Pizza Kitchen. I ordered a Raspberry Mojito and a BBQ Chopped Salad (It was delicious). Stephanie ordered White Pizza - she enjoyed it! By that point I was in some considerable discomfort and completely unable to ignore it any longer.
I dropped Stephanie at home and then I went to bed. It was a good day. Thanks girls!
