[cosplay] Hetalia Picnic, Dragon*Con, Hetalia Day
Just posting pics from a private Hetalia Picnic, Dragon*Con and Hetalia Day. Stay tuned for lots of Hetalia and some random nerdyness.
For a few months now, my friends and I have been planning a Hetalia Girls picnic-themed photoshoot with the lovely CT (byebyebeautiful on cosplay.com and beautifulbyebye on DeviantArt.com). We finally got to do it at the end of August at the Park of Roses in Columbus. Here are some of the results (featuring Yours Truly as Belgium). My makeup was rubbish that day. Also featuring: Faiga Raisa as Lichtenstein, Stardust1187 as Seychelles, Melodious_Me as Ukraine, and Leaux as Monaco.

Dragon*Con 2010. My first D*C! We had an absolute blast. Best con in aaaaages.
New costumes included:
Miss Scarlet from CLUE (with Melodious_Me as Professor Plum and Leaux as Mr. Green)
Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games (I was Tribute Katniss and I met the wonderful jkg_costumes there. She was Mockingjay Katniss):
Calliope the muse, with the Greek Mythology group, including Melodious_Me as Thalia and Leaux as Melpomene:
And last, but certainly not least, Donna Noble from Doctor Who, with Melodious_Me as my 10th Doctor (and Leaux as the 11th):

Moving on from Dragon*Con, I didn't do a cosplay event for almost TWO WHOLE MONTHS! O_o This year, I've been doing something every month, so it seemed like a huge gap. Hetalia Day was this past weekend, and I attended the Ohio gathering as Sealand, along with the usual suspects - Melodious_Me as Finland and Leaux as Sweden. I broke in my sexy new camera a little bit, but most pics here are by cinna_moroll and CT.
