Anyway, what's been going on? A little obsessed with Harry Potter right now, in case anyone can't tell. Seriously, seeing Deathly Hallows has reminded me why I loved this series so much to begin with. Not that I ever stopped loving it, and I don't think I ever could, but really, I need to go reread the books and rewatch the movies. It's been too long. X) Ridiculous time commitment, here I come!

In other news, I've started watching several new shows:
Community
This began completely by accident. It's one of those shows that I kept hearing about, but could never actually get motivated to watch. And then season 2 started, and two weeks in a row I just happened to be hanging out with some friends that watched it when it came on. And then, well, I ended up watching the whole series. X) Which I can only say, I am so glad I did. I absolutely love it. Annie and Troy and Abed need to come live with me so I can be surrounded always by their amazingness and funtastic antics. ♥
Battlestar Gallactica
I KNOW, I SAID I WOULD NEVER DO IT. But. This show. See, it has this board game based on it, which some of my friends loved and I HATED. So I refused to watch it, and scoffed condescendingly whenever they talked about it. BUT THEN I played the game again, and it was actually kind of interesting, and my friends had been talking about how awesome the show was FOREVER and I was like, hm, maybe I should try this.
SO I DID. IT WAS AMAZING.
I've only gotten through the first season though (for some reason my friend has decided we could only watch the first season before winter break) so I am trying to avoid the BSG communities and fanfic so I don't get spoiled like whoa, BUT IT'S SO. HARD. T_T
All I can say though is: BITCHES. THEY GET SHIT DONE. ♥
(Also, Lee Adama. Also, Commander Adama. Also, Saul Tigh. Also, Leoban. ♥♥&hearts)
Lost Girl
This show. This show is kind of amazing. For one thing, this is a show about a crime-solving succubus and her plucky sidekick. For another thing, um, hello eye candy! And fanservice! Yummy, yummy fanservice! And old-school fae! And mystery! Suspense! Prophesies! Unknown parentage! Monsters-of-the-week! Ridiculous amounts of campiness and heart! Believable relationships between women (both romantically and platonically)! A sexy, sexy werewolf! Basically, I love everything this show chooses to be.
The Walking Dead
Okay, admittedly I have only seen like two and a half episodes of this, and they weren't even sequential. BUT, I am kind of in love with the premise of zombie apocalypses so I am really looking forward to actually sitting down and watching it. It's only like six episodes so far too, so that's a plus. (I am looking at you, seven seasons of Buffy.) Plus, my friends AND my bro and dad really like it, so it's got that going for it too.

Misfits season 2 has also started up! Without telling me first, I might add. I've been enjoying it quite a bit. :) Though I'm still kind of unsure about the whole Super Hoodie is Simon from the ~future~ thing. And him getting with Alisha, because they do in the ~future~ and therefore it is inevitable! Idk, that kind of time paradox always felt kind of like cheating to me says the girl who's read waaaay too many Time-turner fics lol. I do like how the characters are all developing though. Can I just express my love for Kelly? She acts all tough, but she really looks out for Simon, and she accepts Nathan for who he is, and she and Alisha seem to have this nice "two girls surrounded by waaaay too much testosterone" friendship going on, and...well honestly I don't remember her and Curtis really interacting. But. I love her to bits lol. ♥
EDIT: Also, I wish they would expand on Kelly's power more. I feel like it's one of the largest wasted potentials on the show. Everyone else does cool things with their powers, or at least is affected by them. Half Most of the time, the writers seem to forget she even has a power.
If Nathan couldn't talk anymore, that would be pretty cool too. Boy is vulgar.

Speaking of those crazy Brits, Being Human is going to start up again soon! I cannot wait! To get us all excited, there have been these really cool Annie Broadcasts.
(They're all there, so far there are ten of them.)
Really, I cannot tell you how excited I am for this. I even wrote fic! Or rather, finally got around to finishing some fic from ages ago. Maybe I'll get around to posting it soon. X) BBC had better not wait too long though, I need these characters back in my life! Hmm, maybe a rewatch is in order... *adds it to list*
