So I'm watching The Dresdan Files now guys. I saw a comercial for it on Hulu and I was like, hey it's based on that book series I've been wanting to read forever. So I started it and I've been enjoying it very much. Up to episode 5 ( Read more... )

Living in a BSG-fan's house, I am inclined to defend it. On principle. Cos I've never actually watched it. Uhhhh.... (But then again, I'll also defend Stonehenge Apocalypse so it's pretty safe to say that I shouldn't be taken to seriously. But Misha Collins! I digress.)
They ask questions like "Favorite Series Finale"? (I always think of Dr. Who and Torchwood when I think of series finales, and how they make me cry like a child locked in the dark. They're excellent, but RTD really likes pulling a Joss and ripping your heart into little tiny pieces, jumping up and down on it, and then throwing it back in your face. Like. End of season 2 Buffy.)

I always felt sort of bad for Ballard. Cos he was just such a clueless guy, and they were all playing him. Sort of like how I feel bad for Annie in Covert Affairs, same reasons anyway. I dunno. I didn't finish Dollhouse. :\

Haha feel free to defend it, I know I'm being rather ridiculous about it. Especially because all of my impressions of Starbuck is that she kicks ass, and I like ass-kicking ladies in my shows. x)

Never watched Torchwood, but Doctor Who does all sorts of horrible things to my heart. I think I'm most emotionally invested in the S5 characters though, so it's not quite so bad for me I think, powering through earlier seasons.

Oh Joss. Oh Buffy. (I don't actually remember how S2 ended.) I just watched Serenity last night and it was like, punch to the gut.

I don't even remember really why he bothered me so much, but I had absolutely no sympathy for him. I just wanted him to GTFO lol. I didn't finish Dollhouse either. Someday I will. I didn't hold me like some other stuff though, once I got out of it though. Except for that one random post-apocalyptic ep, that was unequivocally epic and totally Joss.

Oh Annie. She is just a tool for other people's agendas. :/

You should definitely watch Torchwood. Because it's freaking brilliant. (And if you don't you miss out on Gareth David-Lloyd in suits which might be the most delectable thing on the planet. Let me show you how. And also enough of this to make it worth it. Sorry if that's not your thing. As well as a certain James Marsters in season 2.)

I feel like I should watch Torchwood. At some point. But I have so many shows to watch... Lol my mom is totally intrigued by it, by combination of watching the tail end of the series and all the references to it in DW.

WHAT! WHAT?!?! JAMES MARTSTERS?!?! IS IN TORCHWOOD??? FFFFFFFFFFFFYES. Ok this may be the thing that finally gets me to watch it. Only dammit he's not blond anymore.

Ianto/Jack is canon. You get to watch them make out. (More than once.) It's really freaking awesome.
Mr. Marsters is deliciously devious in season 2. (Don't just skip to season 2, though, as much as season 1 can be slow, I feel like it's really important to get how everything works.)

Oh gosh. You're just TEAMING with spoilers. The tail-tail end of the series (Children of Earth)? Because. Erm. Anyway.

Suit kink = totally legit reason for everything. ("Why did you kidnap them?" "Did you SEE the suit they were wearing?")
