Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Have a nice dream
So, I just spent several hours finding as many of the songs from Soul Eater as I could, as listed here (except that this doesn't mention the fourth closing theme or the second original soundtrack, both of which I found!). Unfortunately most of the links were broken, but between this place and google I'm pretty sure I've managed to find most of them. Though rather tedious and involving some trial-and-error, I'm pretty pleased now. ^_^ The Soul Eater anime has a fantastic soundtrack. This is a little unusual for me, because I often don't even hear the background music in shows for whatever reason (I kind of just tune it out). But I absolutely love the opening and closing themes (between watching them and listening to them, omg I never get tired of it), so...
I have not yet listened to all of them (besides like the beginning and closing themes, because I'm watching it), but I must say I do like Kidd's one song, as you can probably tell from the title of this entry. ^_^ It was featured in what I'm pretty sure was ep. 30, and then I was like ohhhhh, now I get it...
In other Soul Eater news, I have been rapidly making my way through the anime. I am now at episode 31, and man do I love this show. It's stuck fairly close to the manga so far, though I am under the impression that further on it veers off dramatically. I hear it's good though, so I can't wait.
For anyone thinking of trying Soul Eater, I highly recommend both the manga and the anime. Both start off a little slow (and be prepared to skip through the Excalibur episodes - they are for the most part a waste of time, unless you like that kind of thing, with a few important bits thrown in). However, if you like action, humor, and drama, this series has it all. I believe I read somewhere that if you go more than three episodes without some mind-blowing action sequences, you're watching the wrong anime. ^_^ And the manga artwork improves drastically from the beginning of the series, to the point where some pages now I'm just completely spazzing over the badassery of a panel. Several times a chapter.
