Been a little while
Life was pretty busy the first couple weeks of this new year and now it is leveling off and pretty much back to normal. I have not been working very much because this week is the end of the semester so they dont schedule as many teach inservices and not many teachers take off during this time. But it should be picking back up soon.
I went to a new venue a couple weekends ago and I am in love with it. It is called The Spot and they through some good parties. The building is 3 floors (4 if you count the roof top) and so far they have two floors open... they are supposed to be having some after parties for DEMF so I am pretty pumped up about that. I can only imagine how many people will show up for that.
Been seeing more friends lately and that makes me happy. It is always good to see and hang out with people you dont see very often anymore. I had some plans to see people this week... but I have been kinda depressed for no real reason (other than worrying about money because of working less) and never called anyone... but no one called me either, so I dont feel so bad
Things to look forward to... Aural Fixxation at the Works Feb 1... I love the works so much and this is a DnB/Breaks show and both rooms are open, so i will probably have several orgasms =] then The HHC Valentine's show at the CAID... I am going to dance my sillly white ass off there and have too much fun... after that there are a couple random shows... then DEMF, (possibly) MEMF, WEMF, and another Ohio camping event... People at the camping events (WEMF and Ohio) are so much fun... even if you are not really into that music scene it is so much fun just to camp out there and meet some cool people. Some of the coolest people I met stayed away from the music areas and just hung out and talked... I hope to get more people to come to the next one =]
As for this weekend... I guess we are going to try to head up to the bar on saturday to have a drink with Bill, but we are tight on cash... so we will see how that goes... then saturday we are going to bleu for Ryans birthday... I am pretty excited about that =]
