Crammed underneath in an ever shrinking space is the outline for an essay. Sheets dated back a month had outlines of pointless essays that shared equal space with doodles of a place that’s everything high school isn’t.
The bell rings and the paper is crumpled and tossed in the trash, unneeded. A different page will have a scribbled essay, syrup from the cafeteria table, and an A.
