So I have a job. I'm working at Summit Marketing as a Marketing Manager...awesome place, awesome people, and the work I'll be doing sounds fun.
I'm wondering though if I'm jumping into the working world too soon. I mean, this is permanent. I'll be working for the rest of my life probably. Should I really be this eager to start?
I have friends venturing off to Europe. I have friends taking classes for fun. I know people who are taking jobs waiting tables, and freelancing--enjoying their youth. I have friends who are living at the beach this summer. Friends who are working at camps. Friends going off to grad school. Friends taking dead end jobs, just to make a little cash, to prolong the inevitable.
Should I really be starting a REAL JOB June 12th. Is this it for me? Should I have asked for more time off? Is it too late to ask to start in July? Is that a poor reflection on myself? I just don't know.
I should have more than a week of summer, shouldn't I? I'm cheating myself.
What do you all think?
