affreca, as it is my standard name on the internet. Years ago, I was involved in SCA. I chose a Manx persona, as the Isle of Man was an obsession (Yes, I have been there now. Not the home of my heart, but I like it). I wanted a uniquely Manx name, and Affreca (I pronounce it A-freek-ah). When I got my first email address, I used my persona name. I've just kept using it. Saves me the trouble of remembering lots of logins.

Either you know it or you don't. Mom says she chose it because it was gender neutral. I've met about 3 girls with it for every guy. I keep hoping potential employers will be confused by my resume, with military service and a male name.
